Tom Brady made his debut as an NFL analyst on Fox Sports, calling the Dallas Cowboys’ victory over the Cleveland Browns, and he has called many more games for America’s team in the weeks following.
That also included Sunday’s blowout loss to the Detroit Lions.
The Detroit Lions made a statement in their 47-9 blowout over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, and Tom Brady was not thrilled by what he saw from the Cowboys.
Tom Brady couldn’t help but notice the stark difference between the Cowboys and Lions as he ripped Dallas on air late in the game.
Brady said on FOX Sports: “Yeah, they’re just going in [different] directions. Certainly, Detroit is going in the direction they want to go.
“[Lions Head Coach] Dan Campbell made a great comment, ‘We don’t want to be stuck in the mud.’
“Dallas is just struggling in the same ways they have in so many of these games. They can’t run it, they are struggling to be physical, Dak’s frustrated, too many turnovers, just not good enough.”

“And I can see, even though he’s been up and even though they’ve got a great lead at half-time and even though they’ve had a great lead to start the first quarter they are still playing aggressive.
“They are still executing, they still have higher expectations for themselves.
“And Dallas, on the other hand, they’re just struggling the same way they have in so many of these games.
“They can’t run it, they’re struggling to be physical on both sides of the front – offensive line [and] defensive line.
“Dak’s frustrated, too many balls up in here, too many turnovers, and just not good enough, Tom Brady said as he finished his assessment on the Dallas Cowboys.
When it came to the Lions, Tom Brady was sold on the idea that Jared Goff & Co. are once again Super Bowl contenders.
“Absolutely,” Brady said. “I just think their ability to play on offense — there’s so many styles to play. They’ve got this two-headed monster [David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs] at [running] back, creative play-calling. Everybody’s involved. They got [wide receiver Kalif] Raymond involved.
“Gibbs played, he played pretty well today, but at the same time, it wasn’t this electric performance that we’ve seen from him. They got [Amon-Ra] St Brown, [Sam] LaPorta. They just have weapons, and obviously, it all starts with that offensive line. The way they dominate the line of scrimmage, you can get any pass rush, Goff is back there surveying the field. They just seem like they got everything rolling. And on defense, they’re up there challenging people. They’re playing man coverage, challenging every single play. And it’s frustrating when you’re a quarterback and there’s no easy throws out there.
“They’re going to be tough to stop. I think they’ve got a lot of humility in that locker room. They got a lot of guys that are playing for one another. … Man, the Lions are a tough team to beat.”
The Dallas Cowboys Are Not Good
The Lions dominated the Cowboys in a 47-9 blowout at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
It was as humiliating an ordeal as the Dallas Cowboys have experienced, let alone on their own field.
The Cowboys lost their fourth consecutive home game, and they look like a team that is not only not a Super Bowl contender but may not even qualify for the postseason.

The AT&T Stadium’s X account tried to be slick while revealing the number of fans who showed up to see the resident Dallas Cowboys host the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
Over 93,000 were in attendance on the day, though most of them left upset and disgusted as the home team got blown out 47-9 after one of the most depressing displays in recent memory.
Said social media account would post a photo from the stadium, noting the number of fans in attendance. However, people noticed it was missing something, with the score conveniently, yet embarrassingly, blurred out.

“Blurring the score is crazy,” another agreed.
“Did Jerry Jones hire a scoreboard blur technician?” a user asked.
“No way yall blurred the scoreboard lmao,” a comment read.
“I personally think that you owe every one of those damn fans a refund because the Cowboys played absolutely horrible one of the worst performances ever put up,” someone added.
The Dallas Cowboys Completely Ruined Jerry Jones’ Birthday
The Cowboys are going into their bye week with a collective sulk, but they will have an extra week to sort things out before they face the San Francisco 49ers in a ‘Sunday Night Football’ showdown on October 27.
Meanwhile, owner Jerry Jones has had his birthday ruined as he was forced to endure a less-than-inspired outing from his team on the day he turned 82.
Having made Dak Prescott the highest-paid player in NFL history, he should have expected a win on his birthday, at the very least.
Let’s try that again next year.
