Fans were feeling it for Drew Brees after the former New Orleans Saints quarterback was shown during ‘Thursday Night Football’ this week.
The former star quarterback was in attendance as his former team lost to the Denver Broncos in a game that was pretty hard to watch, even for the neutrals. Brees was inducted into the Saints’ Hall of Fame on Thursday night, with the affair even more momentous given his ex-coach Sean Payton’s presence.
Drew Brees Didn’t Have The Greatest Night Despite The Occasion
While it was an incredible moment for Brees, it couldn’t have been all that great watching his old team get dusted. And cameras caught the Saints legend looking like he would have chosen to be anywhere else, given the option.

“looks depressed,” someone observed.
“He’s feeling our pain,” another commented.
“He looks excited to be there,” said a third.
“Saints not impressing him 😭,” a fourth noted.
“Lol he has to watch a murder,” a comment read.
“Shield your eyes Drew Brees,” someone added.
The Saints have fallen to 2-5 on the back of Thursday’s loss. It appears they could use a Brees right now.
Drew Brees Brings ‘Straight Heat’ When Freestyle Rapping
Drew Brees is known for his exceptional arm on the field of play, but apparently he has also impressed his teammates with the ability to rap.
Per The Lefkoe Show, defensive end Cam Jordan, the New Orleans Saints quarterback is said to spit ‘straight heat’ when it comes to his acapella freestyle rapping.
This shouldn’t be too surprising if you think back to how Brees has become synonymous with his epic pre-game speeches that seem to have a hip-hop feel to them.
The 41-year-old gunslinger had 2,979 total passing yards through 11 games last season and nearly tied his career-best completion percentage of 74.4%. He also threw for 27 touchdowns and only four interceptions in 2019.
Brees signed a 2-year deal this offseason to give himself yet another chance to reach the Super Bowl, but it’ll be much much harder as Tom Brady is now in the same division as a member of the Bucs.
