One Piece chapter 1134 is one of the most awaited chapters of the series, and as soon as the spoilers of the chapter hit the internet, it created a ruckus, especially regarding Shanks’ character. Shanks’ twin brother theory turning out to be true is a big relief to those fans who had always believed that Shanks was on the good side and was actually trying to help Luffy become a pirate, save the One Piece world, and earn the title of Pirate King.
The widely popular twin Shanks’ theory
One of the most shocking moments of One Piece was in chapter 907 of the Reverie arc in One Piece, when Shanks went to Mariejois alone to meet the Five Elders. As the Five Elders are the primary antagonists of the series, this uncanny linkup resulted in a bunch of fans calling Shanks a villain who has been hiding behind the mask of wisdom.
From there on, everything that Shanks did came under the radar, and fans started questioning his every move. However, there were still some who believed in the One Piece character, did some research, and came to the conclusion that Shanks has a twin brother who actually works for the World Government, and he was the one who met the Five Elders.

Some aspects of the One Piece storyline hinted at the theory’s truth, but Eiichiro Oda never officially confirmed it. In spite of that, the theory gained a lot of traction on the internet, and One Piece fans hoped that it might turn out to be true, liberating Shanks from all the allegations against him.

According to the spoilers, one of the panels of the One Piece chapter shows the “Heaven World,” which is the highest branch of Elbaph. There is a castle there, and within the castle a magical circle appears, and two characters come out of that circle. One of those characters looks exactly like Shanks from Chapter 907, where he met the Five Elders.
While this is not a complete narrative, it confirms that Shanks has a brother because he himself is currently on his territory, the Gartel Island, dealing with Bartolomeo. Once the entire chapter comes out, it will finally liberate Shanks of all the allegations about him being a One Piece antagonist that have been going on for a few years now.
