Angel Reese found herself nearly at a loss for words as U.S. presidential election results pointed to Donald Trump defeating Kamala Harris.
Former President Donald Trump won the presidential election and, in doing so, became the second president to be elected to two nonconsecutive terms and the first to be convicted of felonies.
Vice President Kamala Harris put up a good fight but unfortunately fell way behind in several swing states that Joe Biden had won when he defeated Trump.
Chicago Sky star Angel Reese couldn’t believe it as she took X (formerly Twitter) to share her thoughts on Trump making his return to the White House.
“woke up speechless….”
The all-star continued: “As a woman, I’mi’m heartbroken for us all…”
Angel Reese then stated how upset she was at the country for being so selfish: “I’m so disappointed in America….Some of you just couldn’t selfishly put your pride aside, huh??!?!?”
Trump’s victory in swing states like Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania saw the former president clear the threshold of the 270 Electoral College votes required to clinch the White House in Tuesday’s election.
Polls had predicted a much tighter race, but as we know, the American people will have their voices heard.

The campaign focused heavily on concerns about the economy, and inflation in particular, under President Joe Biden.
Angel Reese Has Never Been Afraid To Speak Out
Chicago Sky star Angel Reese shared numerous messages on her social media accounts, encouraging fans to vote in the 2024 Presidential Election.
In the end, things did not work out in her favor, as the candidate that she voted for, Kamala Harris, would go on to lose to Donald Trump.
She has since reacted negatively on her social media.
Will she receive backlash? Absolutely.
However, Reese has shown many times in the past that she does not care to be blasted for things that she says or does.
