He wanted to inquire how close Reed Richards is to finding a cure. After a brief conversation, Storm suggests, “We cannot do anything until the research is ready.”

To this Doom angrily replied, “We?” and added, “Don’t forget you work for Susan. So, get to work and do your job.” The deleted scene was humiliating for Sue Storm on so many levels, as pointed out by a user named @nicktroisi6347 in the comments section. They added “Poor Sue, no one should be embarrassed like that.”
