Yeah, Sydney Sweeney has been in the lab cooking all summer. Remember when Blake Griffin burst onto the NBA scene (after his immediate knee surgery) and electrified the basketball world with his poster dunks? Every night he’d end up on SportsCenter’s Top 10 claiming another victim. It was incredible, but what about the rest of his game? Was he always going to be an around the rim guy with no threat outside the paint? How hard was he willing to work? Then one year the jumper began to click after endless hours in the gym. All of a sudden he could consistently knock down a 15 footer with confidence. Eventually that stretched to the point where he was 34% from 3. That’s what just happened with Sydney Sweeney. Wonder if she thought when she posted that if she’d get Blake Griffin comps. She seems like a ball knower.

As you can expect, the internet is not handling this well.

Some people pinch themselves at the realization they’re living during the time of LeBron James or say an Aaron Judge or Shohei Ohtani. Well, being cognizant to understand the generational run of Sydney Sweeney has been special. We’ll tell our kids one day about these times and they won’t believe us.
Generational
P.S. Must be nice for Sweeney to post a few pics like that and you instantly have the whole world at your feet, showering you with applause. How does she ever get down about herself? It’s life I’m sure it happens, but that can all of that can vanish with one simple post. All I’ve got is this pic with Carlos Alcaraz to try and distract from my hideousness and I don’t even think he can accomplish that.
