Travis Kelce would definitely not hop on the Trump Dance mania that's...

The NFL has been infected with a quirky celebration that has players from multiple teams imitating some of the dance moves of the 47th president-elect of the United States Donald Trump.

The signature dance has trascended the NFL and it’s now being replicated by college football players, by UFC fighters and even by European soccer players.

But there’s a major NFL superstar that won’t be joining the infectious dance anytime soon: Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. One of the big reasons why Kelce won’t do it is his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, who publicily sponsored Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris.

Swift has been an advocate for the women’s rights and the political platform of Vicepresident Harris, so it’s no surprise if Kelce decides not to imitate a move of the presidential candidate that his girlfriend did not voted for.

The dance takes sports over

The infectious dance popularized by Donald Trump has taken the sporting world by storm. Trump started doing his famous dance seven years ago at his rallies, during which he would play up to his supporters by pumping his fists and moving them alongside his body.

And in the weeks after Trump’s reelection, the dance has been used as celebration for big plays or whenever a team scores.

The weekend after Trump’s reelection, San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa – a public Trump supporter – celebrated a sack with the dance.

Bosa was joined by a few teammates in the dance and when asked about what inspired it, he said: “I think you know the answer to that question.”

US Soccer Team captain Christian Pulisic bust out the move Monday night after scoring against Jamaica during a League of Nations game, a match that the United States won 4-2.
