Patrick Mahomes has no issues winning Super Bowls, but he does struggle to win the hearts of many. Arguably the GOAT quarterback in NFL history, Mahomes still has more critics than his record should allow for.
Now, Dan Orlovsky has taken his turn to take a pop a the Kansas City Chiefs star, putting Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, Justin Herbert and Aaron Rodgers above him, among many others.
Tyreek Hill claims he is a better player than Patrick Mahomes
Orlovsky decided that there are seven parameters in which he lists the best QBs around, and although Mahomes was named in most, there is apparently something wrong with his game when it comes to mechanics, whatever that may mean.
Is Mahomes better than Tom Brady?
Comparisons between Mahomes and Brady began even while the latter was still playing, but the KCC QB has only strengthened his case as the GOAT since Brady‘s retirement.
But, for Orlovsky, there are current QBs who outrank Mahomes, without even considering the greats of yesteryear.
Bengals ace Burrow topped the ranking, while Matthew Stafford and even Herbert also came off favourably, as odd as that may sound.
Dan Orlovsky’s Top 10 NFL QBs
According to Orlovsky, the below is the list of the greatest quarterbacks currently playing top-level football.

Joe Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals)
Matthew Stafford (Los Angeles Rams)
Justin Herbert (Los Angeles Chargers)
CJ Stroud (Houston Texans)
Dak Prescott (Dallas Cowboys)
Jared Goff (Detroit Lions)
Tua Tagovailoa (Miami Dolphins)
Aaron Rodgers (New York Jets)

Don’t rub your eyes – Mahomes really is missing.

It might seem crazy to many – it certainly does to us – but Orlovsky has presented this as a genuine opinion. We’ll leave you to decide if he is being sincere of if he is just baiting a reaction.
Let’s face it, he is probably just attention seeking.
