Caitlin Clark is definitely enjoying herself during this extended break from the WNBA.

The Indiana Fever rookie is finally taking a break after nearly a year of non-stop basketball, and the first thing she did was jump into a bikini immediately.

The Fever rookie and her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, are on vacation together and enjoying the warm lake weather.

This week, McCaffery — who currently works as a team assistant for the Indiana Pacers — took to his Instagram story and shared several pictures of Caitlin Clark rocking a two-piece brown bikini while on a floatation device in the middle of the water.

The first picture shows Caitlin Clark and Will Matthiessen giving a peace sign as you can see the top portion of Clark’s bikini.

The former Hawkeyes is right in front of Matthiessen, who is a right-handed pitcher out of Stanford, who was a sixth-round pick by the Pirates in the 2019 MLB draft.

Matthiessen is dating Clark’s Fever teammate, guard Lexie Hull, who is also with them.

Caitlin Clark and Lexis Hull could be seen in another picture together, smiling on a large yellow raft in the water. That picture gives a full look of Clark in her bikini. Hull appears to be wearing a red bikini.

Caitlin Clark Couldn’t ‘Wait to Not Touch a Basketball For a While’

Caitlin Clark is a beast when it comes to being on the court, but even she gets tired sometimes.

Caitlin helped lead the Iowa women’s basketball team to back-to-back championship games, which means she played the most games you can in women’s college basketball for two years in a row.

Her final season ended in April 2024, and the Indiana Fever began their season in May of 2024.

According to the IndyStar, Caitlin was ready to not touch a basketball for a while.

“I honestly can’t wait to not touch a basketball for a while. I’ve shot too many times in the past year. I think it’s hard as a professional athlete at times, like people do always realize I feel like an individual just like all of you. I’m just the same human. I go about my same daily life, I do all the things that you do, I just play basketball on top of that .”

South Carolina’s basketball legacy is getting even stronger, thanks to the amazing talent coming from the state. NBA star Zion Williamson and WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson are being recognized by more and more people and are impressing everyone. Recently, Ja Morant, another standout from South Carolina, jumped in to give a shout-out to his fellow stars.

On Monday, Slam posted on X (formerly Twitter) showing Ja Morant, A’ja Wilson, and Zion Williamson, all standout basketball players from South Carolina. The post highlighted how South Carolina is great at producing top-notch basketball talent.

Morant, who plays for the Memphis Grizzlies, showed his pride in his South Carolina roots by commenting, “Stamp dat!!” on the post, which celebrated his achievements along with Wilson’s and Williamson’s.

Even though Ja Morant and Wilson aren’t related, they have a strong bond from growing up in South Carolina and have been friends for a long time. Morant even backed Wilson during the WNBA Finals last year.

A’ja Wilson Receives More Praise From Ja Morant As She Shatters Records And Leads The Aces

A’ja Wilson is having an amazing season, becoming the first player in WNBA history to score 1,000 points in a single season. She hit this milestone on September 11th during the Aces’ 84-71 win over the Connecticut Sun. Moreover, Wilson has been a star for the Aces, averaging 27.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.6 blocks, and 1.8 steals per game, making her the top pick for her third WNBA MVP award.

Here are some of her notable achievements:

2023 & 2022 WNBA Champion
2022 & 2020 WNBA MVP
2023 WNBA Finals MVP
2023 & 2022 WNBA Defensive Player of the Year
2022 & 2020 All-WNBA First Team
2018 WNBA Rookie of the Year

With two regular-season games left, the Aces (25-13) are holding a slim lead over the Seattle Storm for the fourth seed in the playoffs. Wilson is a major player in their chase for a third straight WNBA title.

Ja Morant, looking to get the Grizzlies back to the playoffs after a tough season, congratulated Wilson on her milestone. He shared Nike’s post about Wilson’s achievement on his Instagram story with the message, “Da mayor of South Carolina. Crib talk. Congrats, family.” That being said, it’s clear that both Morant and Wilson continue to make South Carolina proud on the national stage.
