NFL fans had the same complaint about Cris Collinsworth during the Geen Bay Packers-Seattle Seahawks ‘Sunday Night Football’ game at Lumen Field.

Cris Collinsworth and Mike Tirico were on the call for a showdown between two of the NFC’s top teams. Green Bay (10-4) cruised to a 30-13 victory to clinch their first double-digit winning season since 2021, while the ‘Hawks fell out of first in the NFC West in favor of the Los Angeles Rams via tiebreak.

The polarizing Collinsworth drew plenty of criticism once again from disgruntled viewers. More specifically, they expressed outrage over the veteran NFL analyst bringing up Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs during the game:

“Collinsworth made it until the second quarter to mention the chiefs. Truly incredible self control,” a fan said.

“Chris Collinsworth literally can’t make it a full half of football without awkwardly jamming the Chiefs into the conversation. Packers are running the ball well? Well obviously that’s because of the Chiefs! Good point, Chris,” wrote another.

“Tirico: It’s great to see teams who signed high end running backs have lots of success with committing to the run. Collinsworth: The Kansas City Chiefs have a lot to do with that,” wrote another fed-up viewer.

“12 mins left in the half and Collinsworth is already talking about the Chiefs in,” wrote a fan.

“A lot of people don’t know that Cris Collinsworth is contractually obligated to mention the Chiefs in every game,” a fan joked.

“We’re only in the 2nd qtr and Chris Collinsworth has already brought up the chiefs on Sunday night football,” an unhappy viewer said.

“Collinsworth glazing the chiefs while 2 NFC teams are playing is insane,” a fan wrote.

“Leave it to Collinsworth to find a way to find the Chiefs credit for Green Bay’s quick start,” said another.

As for Kansas City, they were victorious 21-7 in their road contest against the Cleveland Browns in the afternoon.

Cris Collinsworth Recently Signed A New Deal With NBC

Whether fans like it or not, Collinsworth isn’t going anywhere. He recently agreed to a lucrative long-term extension with NBC Sports, all but assuring he’ll stay in the ‘SNF’ booth fo the long run.

On Sunday, the heated rivalry between the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers was reignited inside Lincoln Financial Field.

In the first quarter, a fight broke out between the two teams, with the Steelers near the Eagles’ end zone.

Flags were thrown as the melee was sparked because Pittsburgh TE Darnell Washington blocked Eagles cornerback Darius Slay all the way to the padding behind the goalposts.

Darius Slay was not thrilled about it, so he decided to let his fists do the talking.

Fan footage has since surfaced showing the Eagles cornerback throwing at least three punches at Washington and somehow escaping being flagged by the refs.

Slay may have escaped not being flagged, but the NFL league office will most certainly review the footage and access a hefty fine later in the week because of his actions.

The Philadelphia Eagles Have Won 10 Games In A Row

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers, 27 to 13, on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown brought a full stop to any rumors that they have issues with each other.

Hurts finished 25 of 32 for 290 yards and two passing touchdowns, one of them going to Brown. He also had eight catches for 110 yards.

The victory extended the Eagles’ winning streak to 10 games, improving their record to 12-2 on the season. They just need one more win to clinch the NFC East.

Not only that, Philly also moved closer to potentially taking the No. 1 seed in the NFC with the Detroit Lions losing to the Bills.
