With reports of Tua Tagovailoa expected to miss significant time this season, the Miami Dolphins are seemingly venturing to outside avenues to find a replacement. Latest reports say that Cam Newton attended a practice, and Tyreek Hill was not afraid to share his opinions.

This team all ready has too many kids,” Hill wrote

Of course, that certainly doesn’t make it sound like Tyreek is in favor of the Dolphins potentially signing the 35-year-old. It could be because Newton hasn’t played a snap in the NFL since 2021, and he didn’t impress then either,

However, it could be a deeper cause as Newton recently went viral for sharing his opinions on Hill’s recent arrest.

“This could’ve been avoided… The reason why the officers are frustrated is because you rolled your window up. He (the officer) was excessive. I’m not taking the officer’s side. I’m just saying how this situation could have played out different. There’s accountability on both sides,” Newton said.

Through the media, Hill has been adamant that the arrest was not his fault and that he was compliant throughout the traffic stop, so there could be some bad blood between the potential teammates.

Hill’s comments could be why Miami could decide to pass on signing Newton if they were ever serious about it.

Tyreek Hill Could See A Drop In Production With Tagovailoa Out

Having a great passer like Tua at quarterback for the Dolphins is one reason Tyreek Hill has been able to keep up his high production at 30 years old.

That could see a major dip now that Skylar Thompson is set to take over until Tua returns or if he does.

Miami could rely more on the rushing game, considering they still have a lethal running back like De’Von Achane healthy.

One of the officers involved in the detainment of Tyreek Hill was handed a stiff punishment on the same day the Miami Dolphins wide receiver was forced to the ground and placed in handcuffs in a shocking encounter with law enforcement.

According to department director Stephanie V. Daniels, the officer, who is attached to the Miami-Dade Police Department, has been placed on administrative leave.

“Following the incident involving Tyreek Hill, I have initiated an Internal Affairs investigation to ensure a thorough review of the matter,” Daniels said in a statement, per NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero. “One of the officers involved in the incident has been placed on administrative duties while the investigation is conducted.

“I’m committed to transparency and accountability to the community with any situation involving my officers.”

The wide receiver was the talk of the football world on Sunday morning after he was seen getting apprehended by several police officers just a block away from Hard Rock Stadium ahead of the Fins’ Week 1 opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
