Santa Andy Reid Delivers Christmas News to Chiefs After Win vs. Steelers
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid brought holiday cheer to his team after a dominant 29-10 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day.
As the team celebrated their fourth straight No. 1 seed in the AFC, Reid, dressed as Santa, delivered a special gift to his players.
“Proud of you, dudes,” Reid said, addressing his team. “For the present, you get home-field advantage.”
Reid, known for his sense of humor, led the Chiefs’ postgame chant in the away locker room while sporting a full Santa suit, complete with a beard.

Despite the humorous presentation, Reid’s gift is one the Chiefs truly value. With quarterback Patrick Mahomes leading the offense, the Chiefs continue to dominate this season, improving to 15-1 in the campaign.

The win also saw a standout performances from tight end Travis Kelce, who broke Tony Gonzalez’s Chiefs record for most touchdown receptions. Kelce caught eight passes for 84 yards and sealed the victory with a 12-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Mahomes, meanwhile, threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns, continuing his dominance over the Steelers with a 4-0 career record against them.
As the Chiefs prepare for their next game against the Denver Broncos, Reid’s festive gesture symbolizes more than just a win—it’s a reminder of the team’s quest to make history as the first NFL team to win three Super Bowls in a row.
