Chiefs React to Postgame Handshake Between Andy Reid, Mike Tomlin

The Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers faced off in a Christmas Day battle. Kansas City defeated the Pittsburgh 29-10, handing the Steelers their straight loss.

Following the AFC duel, the Chiefs’ official social media account posted a photo of Andy Reid and Mike Tomlin sharing a postgame exchange.

“Two of the best in the business,” the Kansas City Chiefs wrote. “It was a pleasure celebrating Christmas with you, Pittsburgh Steelers.”

With the Week 17 victory, the Chiefs improved to 15-1 on the season. They are the hottest team in the AFC, having won six straight games.

As the Chiefs highlighted, the game featured two of the most outstanding head coaches in the NFL.

Tomlin has been with the Steelers since 2007. Under Tomlin, Pittsburgh has never had a losing season, consistently competing for a playoff berth. Tomlin has already helped the Steelers have immense postseason success, winning Super Bowl XLIII.

Reid, on the other hand, has helped the Chiefs win three Super Bowl titles: LIV, LVII and LVIII. He has established a dynasty in Kansas City, with six straight trips to the AFC championship and four straight Super Bowl appearances.

The Chiefs and Steelers each have one game remaining on their regular season schedule.

Kansas City will go head-to-head against the Denver Broncos, while the Steelers will face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 18.

Kansas City has clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC while Pittsburgh has clinched a playoff berth and is one game behind the Baltimore Ravens for first place in the AFC North.
