Joe Burrow sends strong warning to Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce against chiefs vs Bengals, ” i will rob their ego to the mud tomorrow “

The Kansas City Chiefs are back at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium for another matchup this weekend, and it’s once again an AFC North opponent on the docket for Andy Reid’s squad.

For Week 2, the Cincinnati Bengals are seeking a get-right win over the back-to-back Super Bowl champions.

Dating back to January of 2022, this will be the sixth meeting between Kansas City and Cincinnati. In the last five outings, the Bengals hold a 3-2 record but have dropped two in a row to the Chiefs. Last year, specifically, saw quarterback Joe Burrow miss the game due to an injury.

This time around, Burrow is healthy and the Bengals have their expectations back. With that said, they face a tall task in taking down the Chiefs at home.

The debate about who is the best quarterback in the league is an ongoing one. The recent controversy unfolded when Joe Burrow, the quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals, made a seemingly innocuous comment during his press conference at the start of minicamp last month. Burrow declared Patrick Mahomes as the best in the league, leaving no room for debate. However, it appears that there was indeed an argument to be had.

Bengals leader had a clear message in response to the trash talk from Chiefs’ stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce just before the Netflix series ‘Quarterback’ showdown. During a recent interview, Burrow provided a direct and composed response to the offseason chatter. Addressing the media, Burrow made it clear that he would not be entangled in the recent exchange of words. Instead, he dropped a clear-cut statement.

Burrow trashed the trash talks

Ja’Marr Chase, a wide receiver for the Bengals, supported his quarterback Burrow as best but playfully dismissed Mahomes by saying, “Pat who?” upon learning of Burrow’s acknowledgment. Chase’s lighthearted jab was taken personally by Mahomes and the Chiefs.

In response, Mahomes took to Twitter after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl ring ceremony, posting a photo of himself wearing his Super Bowl rings with the caption, “That’s who.” Adding fuel to the fire, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce issued a warning to Chase during a recent episode of New Heights, stating, “If you want to talk your shit, talk your shit, pimp. Just better back it up.”
