Kelce is known to be a prankster, and he decided to make the five-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Chris Jones his next victim.

On Wednesday, the Chiefs were practicing in their indoor facility when a social media clip showed Kelce running toward Jones.

Kelce performed an NBA-style slam dunk move on Jones, who fell to the turf.

The video then showed Kelce doing his signature victory dance.

Numerous teammates picked up Jones from the ground while Kelce showed off his taunt dance.

FOX 4 KC sports anchor Harold R. Kuntz posted the clip of Kelce’s antics on X.

However, there were Chiefs fans who weren’t thrilled with Kelce’s prank, believing he risked injury with his move on Jones.

“Did anyone see their life flash before their eyes because I was yelling don’t hurt each other we need you full throttle on Sunday!” one wrote.

“Travis I love you my brother but please be careful,” another commented.

“Why is he like this?” a third asked.

Luckily, Jones was uninjured from the horseplay.

He even responded to the sequence on X, replying to the clip reposted on Kelce’s New Heights podcast account, “[laughing emoji] he caught me slipping.”

Both Jones and Kelce have played a role in the Chiefs’ 9-0 start to the season.

Jones has three sacks and 19 combined tackles so far.

And after a slow start to the year, Kelce has 32 catches, 254 yards, and two touchdowns in the last three games.

Kansas City has a current 15-game winning streak and they will take on the red-hot 8-2 Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium.

It will be a rematch of the last season’s AFC Divisional round where the Chiefs came out the winners.

Kansas City is coming off a blocked field goal against the Denver Broncos as time expired in the fourth quarter to give them the 16-14 win.

The Chiefs have won seven games in which they won by just one possession.
