Swift previously gave her support to Kamala Harris ahead of next month’s presidential election.

However, the Republican candidate has now been backed by another Chiefs player.

Kicker Harrison Butker endorsed Trump at an event for Missouri senator Josh Hawley’s re-election campaign on Thursday.

The 29-year-old said: “I’m supporting the president that’s going to be the most pro-life president.

“It’s a topic that is the most crucial topic for me. I want us to be fighting for the most vulnerable, fighting for the unborn.

“That’s what we should prioritise and that’s obviously what Senator Hawley is doing as a man of faith.

“You have to vote for whoever is going to be the most pro-life. We have to be prayerful man to put God first and I think that’s what is going to be best for our country.”

Butker previously made headlines with a controversial commencement speech back in May.

His $25.6million deal makes him the highest-paid kicker in the NFL.

Butker joined the Chiefs in 2017 after initially being drafted in the seventh round by the Carolina Panthers.

He has since gone on to set the NFL records for longest field goal in a Super Bowl and the most career field goals in Super Bowls.

So far this season, the Georgia Tech alum has made 12 of his 14 field goal attempts to help the Chiefs to a perfect 5-0 start.
