Kelce posted a series of pictures on his Instagram account following the Monday Night Football win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“Arrowhead at night,” he captioned the post.

However, he might have committed a fatal flaw with the timing of the post.

Kelce posted his pictures on Wednesday morning, the day after the US presidential election.

Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris in this election, a candidate many Swifties endorsed.

And many Harris-supporting Kelce fans were upset with his celebratory post.

“Read the room Travis,” one fan said.

“Travis pls not right now we’re mourning,” another fan said.

“Girl not right now,” a third fan said.

“Not now Travy!” a fourth fan said.

“Travis people are crying plz,” a fifth fan.

Many supporters of president-elect Trump made their way into the comments as well to share their excitement about the results.

Kelce never made his political allegiances public, so fans don’t know who he voted for.

He followed a trend set by his teammate Patrick Mahomes in not endorsing a candidate, instead focusing on football.

While Trump secured a big win on Tuesday, the Chiefs are looking to continue their winning streak this season.

They moved to 8-0 on Monday night thanks to another strong game from Mahomes and Kelce.

Mahomes had his best game of the season, throwing for 291 yards and three touchdowns.

Kelce pulled in 100 of those yards on 14 catches.
