All press is not good press, and Kayla Nicole is finding that out the hard way.

Kayla Nicole is learning to navigate media attention, but it is only getting worse for her after she appeared on Angel Reese’s podcast on Oct. 11.

She spoke on various topics on Unapologetically Angel, including the “hate” she received since her ex-boyfriend Travis Kelce started dating Taylor Swift.

The major story was that she dressed up as Teyana Taylor for Halloween as a retaliation to her ex-boyfriend, who dumped her for the singer/actress.

The backlash was swift and wouldn’t stop.

Now, Kayla Nicole has another issue on her hands.

Someone unearthed multiple racist tweets from her account that she may have to speak up about in the future.

“There’s always that one obnoxiously loud black girl with the annoying voice. There’s allllllwaaays that one. Smh,” one tweet from 2011 reads.

“If your Twitter profile pic looks like one of them black bobs from Pacman….. you’re #tooblackfortwitter AND ugly,” another tweet from 2010 reads.

Kayla Nicole would’ve been around the age of 19 or 20 when she sent those tweets out.

Kayla Nicole Reveals Podcast Regrets: ‘I’m Learning!’

Travis Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole, hit headlines last week for all the wrong reasons when she spoke on a bevy of topics, including her petty behavior and Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift and how it has affected her.

Now, she regrets speaking out at all.

The sports reporter and influencer said she initially felt good about how she’d come across on the Unapologetically Angel podcast, but later wished she’d refused to answer some of the more personal questions.

“After the podcast came out, I thought that I handled things with grace,” she said on an episode of I Am Athlete Daily.

“I thought that I answered the questions to the best of my ability. The public had their interpretation of things — didn’t matter to me.”

She added to her co-hosts, “You know my personality: it’s spicy! And that can be perceived in a million different ways.”

When speaking with Reese, Kayla Nicole said, “I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and just, like, online chaos didn’t impact me, it does. Even to this day.” She added, “You can go to my most recent post and it will be people debating each other why I am worthless and I’ll never be a talented person and I have no career.”

Nicole stated that the backlash “didn’t matter” to her, but her mother felt differently.

“My mom calls me though and it’s those conversations… that’s what matters to me.”

Nicole explains, “Because she’s offended. She’s hurt by the way people are perceiving her daughter. She’s hurt at the negative headlines and the way that people are spinning it. Even my mom was like, ‘Well, maybe next time, we just don’t answer those questions.’”
