The long-running feud between prominent NFL insiders Adam Schefter and Mike Florio carried over to Christmas Day.
On Wednesday, Adam Schefter reported that former Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll has interest in returning to the NFL coaching ranks, and that the Chicago Bears are on his radar.
The Pro Football Talk insider wrote a follow-up piece on Schefter’s report, suggesting that there were inaccuracies and that Carroll’s agent is simply using the media to his advantage:
“It’s one thing to express authentic and organic and unsolicited opinions, like we did recently when questioning whether Brian Flores’s lawsuit against the NFL and multiple teams will stand in the way of a second head-coaching opportunity. It’s another thing to let your strings be pulled by “sources” (probably only one source, but making it plural always sounds better) who want to get their back scratched — and who will return the favor, possibly many times over.”
That’s where Adam Schefter clapped back at his longtime nemesis with a savage X/Twitter message:

As expected, Florio wouldn’t go quietly into the afternoon:
Well, let’s just go ahead and assume that Schefter and Florio didn’t exchange Christmas cards this year. Regardless, hopefully both hard-working insiders are having a nice holiday with their families.
Adam Schefter & Mike Florio Give NFL Fans Some Extra Entertainment
You rarely see insiders in any sport clash with each other publicly, and that’s what makes the Schefter-Florio feud so intriguing for fans. There was great competition between Shams Charania and Adrian Wojnarowski, but the two never feuded on social media the way Schefter and Florio have.

Aaron Rodgers does not take long to find himself a new girlfriend, no matter how long his previous relationship was.
A few years ago, the then-Green Bay Packers quarterback shocked everyone when he announced during his virtual acceptance speech for his third MVP at the NFL Honors that he was engaged.
About a year later, he and fiancée Shailene Woodley were broken up but still seen out together as just friends.
On Monday, during his appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” the current New York Jets quarterback revealed that he has a girlfriend while discussing the Christmas season.
His news certainly caught McAfee off guard based on his reaction.
Aaron Rodgers didn’t reveal too much about her except that her name is Brittani with an “I.”

The conversation started with Rodgers talking about his Christmas shopping habits.
The 41-year-old quarterback said he’s shifted to only online shopping, “I actually order all mine online,” Rodgers said.
There was one particular gift he hadn’t received yet, and that was for his girlfriend.
“I was a little worried ’cause there was one package left for my girlfriend Brittani that hadn’t shown up yet,” Rodgers said. “I was waiting on it to show up. And it showed up today. We’re all set. All my stuff for the (offensive) line is done, all my stuff for the QB room is done.”
Aaron Rodgers revealed that Brittani doesn’t have social media, but he noted that she’s a fan of McAfee, although she doesn’t watch “The Pat McAfee Show.”
“We just learned that Aaron’s in love,” McAfee said.
“It’s a good feeling, boys,” Rodgers said.
Aaron Rodgers Has Quite The Dating History
Two years after his engagement with Shailene Woodley ended, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers shared that he has a new girlfriend named Brittani.
Prior to Aaron’s romance with Brittani, the football player announced his engagement to Shailene in 2021 before calling it quits.
Rodgers also dated actress Olivia Munn for three years before their breakup in 2017. He dated race car driver Danica Patrick from 2018 to 2020.
Rodgers was also linked to Mallory Edens, the daughter of Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wes Edens, though the two never spoke on it publicly.
