After unnecessarily trashing Tom Brady time and time again over the last three seasons, Antonio Brown has finally decided to show some gratitude towards the man who helped him get a second chance in the NFL.

Antonio Brown played one game with Brady and the Patriots together in the 2019 season before getting cut after disturbing sexual misconduct allegations surfaced. At Brady’s insistence, his Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Brown late in the 2020 season to help their Super Bowl push.

Brady and Brown formed strong on-field chemistry during their brief tenure together. Brown helped the Bucs to a Super Bowl 55 championship, even catching a touchdown pass from Brady in the big game.

As everyone recalls, Antonio Brown’s ridiculous antics continued during his tenure in Tampa Bay. During a 2021 game against the New York Jets, Brown took off his jersey and ran out of the stadium shirtless following a disagreement with the coaching staff. He was released soon after and never played again.

After taking several cheap shots at Brady, including comments about his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, Brown took to X/Twitter to express love for his former teammate. Brown also shared an audio clip of a phone call between the two.

“Love my Teammate & Friend #CTESPN

He helped me out the mud & I’m forever grateful for him

I’m sorry for all my side of everything.”

The Patriots and Buccaneers received immense criticism for giving Antonio Brown chances to save his playing career despite his many off-the-field issues and destructive antics. Brady was one of the few players who lobbied for Brown to get another chance, but that wasn’t enough to keep the former All-Pro receiver happy.

At any rate, it appears they’ve agreed to let bygones be bygones.

Antonio Brown Ruined His Chance At A Hall Of Fame Career

Brown’s statistics and accomplishments alone suggest he deserves to be in Canton, but it’s hard to envision voters giving him the nod after his long list of legal issues and problematic behavior.

Some want to overlook Brown’s legal troubles and focus entirely on what he did as a football player. But the fact that four different teams couldn’t wait to get rid of the All-Pro receiver says it all.

Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown spoke at a Donald Trump rally this Saturday.

Brown joined the former United States President in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, endorsing the Republican, who he believes will bring about “real change.”

AB took to the stage with a speech in which he referred to the media and democratic party as “crazy,” dismissing Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz as serious candidates. “Do you really know they wanna put tampons in the boys’ bathroom?” he asked.

The former Pittsburgh Steelers star went on to claim that Walz couldn’t guard him, which is probably true.

Check him out in the video below:

AB took some flak in the comments, with users pointing to the possibility of CTE, which Brown has repeatedly made claims of having.

“This was painful to watch. That CTE was hittin different today,” someone wrote.

“CTE on overdrive,” another said.

“Um, “coaches“ aren’t supposed to “guard players.” Jesus who wrote this speech,” said a third.

“CTE was talking,” a fourth wrote.

Even so, he received lots of support for his moxie.

“Wonderful speech AB MAG,” a user claimed.

“You did good bro …. That is a tough thing to do!” someone else noted.

“Good job AB 💯,” a fan added.

“This is what a real man looks like. From all the moms out there, thank you so much for doing this!!! We need to fight for our children,” another comment read.

Antonio Brown’s ex-Steelers teammate, Le’Veon Bell, was also a notable presence at the rally.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump is expected to attend the Steelers’ game against the New York Jets this Sunday. Brown has also announced he will register new voters for the Republican candidate at a tailgate party outside Acrisure Stadium.
