Antonio Brown, the former NFL wide receiver, is once again making headlines, this time addressing the notorious 2022 photo of himself with Gisele Bundchen, the ex-wife of his former teammate Tom Brady.
The image, which Brown captioned “Put that s*** on,” caused a stir at the time, sparking speculation about its intent. Now, Brown is finally sharing his side of the story.
Speaking on the podcast Caresha Please with rapper Yung Miami, Brown described the post as an attempt at entertainment rather than a personal jab. “At the end of the day, I’m an entertainer… So I was just being an entertainer,” he explained.
Despite this claim, Brown‘s comments suggested a more complicated motivation, tied to his feelings about Brady.
“So I was just making light of people not doing me right, just getting back at them,” Brown admitted, hinting at unresolved grievances with the quarterback. Adding fuel to the fire, he made a veiled remark about Bündchen, saying, “I don’t kiss and tell.”
The history between Antonio Brown and Tom Brady is well-documented. Brady advocated for Brown’s return to the NFL after his tumultuous exits from multiple teams.

The quarterback even invited Brown to live with his family in Tampa Bay, providing him with stability during his stint with the Buccaneers. This partnership led to Brown playing a key role in the team’s Super Bowl LV victory, cementing what seemed to be a mutually beneficial relationship.
However, their dynamic took a sharp turn after Brown’s infamous mid-game exit during a 2022 match against the New York Jets, which marked the end of his NFL career. While Brown acknowledges Brady’s influence in his return, he also holds the quarterback responsible for his less-than-graceful departure.
“I felt like, first off, because you know I helped him win the Super Bowl,” Brown said. “You got to know I got value in terms of what I do.” He also claimed that Brady failed to deliver on certain promises, further fueling his resentment.
Life Beyond Football
In the years since his NFL departure, Brown has embraced his role as an entertainer. While he occasionally teases a return to football-most recently tweeting he’d play for the Steelers “for free”-he now describes his current phase as one of freedom and self-expression.

“For me to be able to leave on my own, too, has helped me transition to the position I’m in now,” Brown stated.
This “position” appears to involve music and the pursuit of a lifestyle he describes as enjoying the “freedom that comes with having money.” However, Brown‘s financial troubles, including a recent bankruptcy filing, hint at a more complicated reality.
