NFL fans had the same complaint about Tom Brady during the highly-anticipated Kansas City Chiefs-San Francisco 49ers Week 7 clash at Levi’s Stadium.

FOX assigned Tom Brady and Kevin Burkhardt to a game many regarded as the best matchup of the 2024 regular season. The Chiefs and 49ers met in Super Bowl 58 just eight months ago, with Kansas City winning in overtime.

Brady’s work as an NFL analyst has received mixed reviews over the past six weeks. Today, there was no shortage of fed-up fans taking to X/Twitter to air their disappointment with his performance.

Specifically, they were complaining about Tom Brady’s constant praise of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes throughout the contest:

The 47-year-old Brady is in the first season of a 10-year, $375 million deal he signed with FOX in 2022. The network was so high on Brady as an analyst that they had him replace the beloved Greg Olsen as the analyst on their No. 1 commentary team with Burkhardt and Erin Andrews.

Tom Brady & Patrick Mahomes Split Their Six Meetings

Fans were treated to six chapters of Brady vs. Mahomes, including the epic 2018 AFC Championship Game and Super Bowl 55. Brady won those two matchups as well as the first meeting in 2018, but Mahomes also emerged victorious thrice with regular season victories in 2019, 2020 and 2022.

Tom Brady is one of the most famous names in the NFL world today. The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers signal-caller has just added to his influence on the NFL by taking literal ownership of an NFL franchise.

During his 23-year NFL career, Brady enjoyed one of the most prolific careers the league has ever seen, as he was there for 89,000 yards and 649 touchdowns. The GOAT, as most consider him, topped it all off by winning an NFL record 7 Super Bowls.

Some NFL fans joked about the fact that Brady owned the AFC East during his 20 seasons with the Patriots, and while his most recent venture doesn’t prove that statement right, it now proves that he quite literally owns an NFL franchise.

In the most recent NFL owners meeting, the former NFL signal-caller was approved as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. He will now join Mark Davis and company as he now holds a 5 percent stake in the team, prompting him to post a three-word reaction to X.

Tom Brady Is Now A Part Owner Of The Las Vegas Raiders

“Commitment to Excellence,” Brady captioned the post. He added a letter addressed to Raiders Nation, which he began by stating, “I’m incredibly humbled and excited to have been unanimously approved as an owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.”

Brady continued by explaining why he wanted so badly to literally own an NFL franchise after years of fans joking that he does just that. “Football has been part of my entire life growing up in the Bay Area, and in so many ways, my football life and journey has come full circle.”

Brady finished the letter off by thanking NFL Commissioner Goodell, Mark Davis, and the rest of the NFL owners for allowing this to happen and claimed that he was willing to do anything to help the Raiders win football games. Brady to Vegas, anyone?
