This purchase stands out because of his complicated career, which includes a lucrative contract and ongoing legal issues.
The mansion sits on nearly six acres and has 17,000 square feet of living space. Built-in 2006 and remodeled in 2021, it has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms, making it ideal for the 27-year-old athlete’s getaway. The property is called “the most prestigious and remarkable property in the region” and includes a gourmet kitchen, a 3,000-square-foot gym, and a lower-level entertainment area with a 12-seat movie theater, gaming areas, and a full bar.

Watson purchased this mansion after signing a five-year contract with the Browns worth $230 million, making it the second-largest fully guaranteed deal in NFL history, just behind Dak Prescott’s four-year contract extension valued at $240 million. Controversy has marred Watson’s time in Cleveland, including when the NFL suspended him for 11 games in 2022 after multiple massage therapists alleged sexual misconduct during their sessions.
The NFL also required Watson to pay a $5 million fine and undergo counseling and treatment as part of their agreement. Watson’s situation has become even more complicated because he is currently dealing with an Achilles injury that has kept him out for the season. This injury raises questions about his future with the Browns, especially given the team’s significant investment in him.
On top of that, Watson is facing new allegations of sexual assault, which has prompted the NFL to launch an investigation. The Browns might have reasons to void his deal if there are further disciplinary actions from the ongoing investigations.
