When Deshaun Watson went down with a season-ending Achilles injury, Cleveland Browns fans could be heard cheering.

Michelle Beadle felt that in a spiritual way because she would’ve cheered like she’s never cheered before.

Several Browns players, including Jameis Winston, Myles Garrett, and LeBron James, criticized fans for cheering on the quarterback’s Achilles injury.

Michelle Beadle does not care as the former ESPN personality, who now hosts a daily radio show on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio, and she said during Monday’s program that she would have “cheered my ass off.”

“The fans think that because they pay their money, they can do or say whatever they want out loud. That’s exactly what Deshaun Watson did,” Beadle said on air. “He did whatever he wanted, and then he paid some money to make a problem go away. I would’ve cheered my ass off. Here’s the problem, I would’ve been booing Deshaun Watson the minute they brought him to Cleveland.”

In 2022, the Cleveland Browns traded with the Texans for Deshaun Watson and gave him a five-year, $230 million deal amid the sexual misconduct allegations.

While many celebrated the move, many in the fan base did not like it.

“The fans were put in a garbage situation, and if you talk to a lot of Browns’ fans, they don’t like him; they never liked him. They hated the move by the organization, and they didn’t want to be forced to cheer for this person, who they don’t find to be a decent human,” Beadle said.

Following his injury, the Browns announced that starting QB Deshaun Watson will undergo surgery to repair his Achilles injury, which will end his 2024 season.

Deshaun Watson’s Injury Was Unfortunate, But The Fan Base Likely Won’t Miss Him

Once again, the season of Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has been cut short.

An MRI revealed that Watson ruptured his right Achilles tendon.

He suffered the injury during the Browns’ 21-14 home loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. In the second quarter, he went down as he tried to take off running while in the pocket.

Browns fans surely won’t miss him, as they showed by cheering when he lay down on the ground injured.

Through the season’s first seven games, Watson completed 137 of 216 passing attempts for 1,148 passing yards and five touchdowns.

This year was the first time he played in more than six games in a season for the Browns.

Watson has not lived up to the massive contract he signed nor the draft picks given up to acquire him, and the fan base is ready to move on.

REPORT: Browns QB Deshaun Watson Suddenly In Danger Of Being Released & Having His Guaranteed Contract Terminated

The Browns may just be able to get out from Deshaun Watson’s contract after all.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson could be in danger of losing his job and the remaining money on his contract after yet another woman has come out to accuse him sexual misconduct.

Mike Florio of NBC Sports’ Pro Football Talk first reported the news that a lawsuit for sexual assault and battery had been filed in Houston that allegedly occurred in 2020.

Florio explains that because of the situation, the Browns may have the option to remove themselves from the five-year deal.

“Player hereby represents and warrants (except as otherwise disclosed to club in writing), as of the date hereof, that (1) Player has not been charged with, indicted for, convicted of or pled nolo contendre to any felony and/or misdemeanor involving fraud or moral turpitude, (ii) Player has not engaged in conduct which could subject him to a charge, indictment or conviction of any such offense, and (iii) no circumstances exist that would prevent Player’s continuing availability to the Club for duration of this Contract.”

“Based on the default language connected to the various guarantees, Watson doesn’t necessarily have to be suspended for the payments to be voided. Instead, if he ‘violates any material term of the Contract {included, but not limited to, Paragraph 42),’ Watson has defaulted and the future guarantees can be voided,” Florio explains.

Just when Deshaun Watsn thought this was over and done, his alleged actions have come bak once again.

Watson narrowly avoided criminal charges in two cases as two grand juries did not think there was enough to prsue charges.

The NFL found he had committed sexual assault as defined by the league’s conduct policy and suspended him for several games.

This did not stop the Browns from trading three first-round picks to Houston, then signed Watson to a $230 million fully guaranteed contract.

New Allegations Against Deshaun Watson Are Disturbing

By the end of 2022, dozens of women had settled lawsuits accusing now Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson of sexual assault and sexual harassment.

We now have at least one more.

In a lawsuit filed Monday, a Houston woman says Watson sexually assaulted her in her apartment in 2020 as they were supposed to go out on a date.

In the lawsuit, the woman painted a timeline of events that started with Watson being angry as he couldn’t find her residence to him being naked in her home.

“Within minutes of arriving at Jane Doe’s home, without any warning or encouragement or even knowledge he was going to do so, Watson abruptly got naked, lay on Jane Doe’s bed, and demanded that Jane Doe give him a massage,” the lawsuit reads. “Jane Doe complied due to fear.”

“Watson grabbed Jane Doe’s leg and positioned her so that she was lying down. Watson then partially disrobed Jane Doe and penetrated her vagina without consent, implicit or explicit. Jane Doe felt paralyzed, unsure if she should risk her safety by trying to stop Watson or endure his assault. Watson roughly sexually assaulted Jane Doe for several minutes in a ‘missionary position’ before grabbing her and flipping her over,” the lawsuit claims.

“Watson continued to assault Doe aggressively from behind. Jane Doe finally gathered the courage and strength to escape Watson. Jane Doe quickly ran to her dresser to grab a heavy piece of décor for self-defense, and yelled at Watson [to] get out of her apartment. Enraged, Watson stormed out of Jane Doe’s apartment.”

This new news comes on the heels of Deshaun Watson settling out of court with at least 30 women.
