NFL fans are furious after ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky revealed that he won’t be casting his NFL MVP vote for Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson.
With one week remaining in the regular season, Lamar Jackson and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen are the two front-runners for the NFL MVP award. Orlovsky, who makes weekly appearances on the “One Bills Live” program, is one of 50 analysts who votes for the MVP winner.
Orlovsky made headlines on “First Take” yesterday when he stated that he wouldn’t give his MVP vote to Jackson. Orlovsky used a bizarre explanation in that Jackson’s receivers have drawn more separation than Allen’s.
Needless to say, NFL fans have wasted little time ripping on Orlovsky for already stating that he wouldn’t vote for Lamar Jackson:
“i don’t think you should make your opinion public like that until the vote is announced…,” one fan said.

“Bunch of frauds,” remarked another.
“DO gets himself in trouble on a daily basis😂,” said a fan.
“MVP fatigue is real,” quipped another.
“Dan Orlosky sux. Ravens Lamar Jackson is the NFL MVP,” a fan said.
“So yall just now figuring out these awards are bought?,” another remarked.
“Orlovsky should’ve disclosed that,” stated a fan.
“It’s a business decision for Orlovsky, Aikman, and all the others that are pushing a Joe Burrow MVP narrative. The @NFL tells them who to promote and they obey!” wrote another.
Josh Allen’s Stats vs. Lamar Jackson’s
Entering Week 18, Buffalo’s superstar signal-caller has 3,731 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, six interceptions, 531 rushing yards and 12 rushing scores.
The reigning MVP over in Baltimore has 3,955 passing yards, 39 touchdowns, only four interceptions, 852 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Jackson has the better all-around stats, but Allen is the overwhelming betting favorite.
VIDEO: Bills QB Josh Allen Was Gifted Expensive Item With 3-Letter Message On It From His Offensive Linemen That He May Need To Return Now
Josh Allen has been taken care of by his offensive linemen all season, and they had him covered for Christmas too.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback is having a remarkable term under center in 2024 and has played at MVP level for most of the campaign. He remains the frontrunner in the race despite playing a bit below standard against the New England Patriots in Week 16.
If nothing else, his teammates certainly believe he’s the MVP. The Bills’ offensive line gifted their QB with a shiny pendant bearing his jersey number and “MVP” at the top. The names of the players in the O-line were also shown engraved on the back.
Check it out in the video below:
The quarterback is usually the one who gifts his offensive line to show gratitude for their protection during the season, but Allen’s teammates have gone the other way about it for the holidays, showing just how much he means to them.

Might Josh Allen Return His Expensive Present?
Josh Allen’s claim to the MVP seat is as legitimate as it gets.
The QB has thrown for 3,549 yards, 26 touchdowns, and just six interceptions this season. He’s also added 513 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground while boasting the second-highest QBR among qualified quarterbacks.
Still, Baltimore Ravens star and reigning MVP Lamar Jackson is the one being lauded as the 2024 winner following his most recent outing. So Allen’s pendant just might leave a sour taste depending on how things fall.
The Bills star has dropped off a bit in recent weeks but has been turning the ball over a lot less this season.
With two games left in the campaign, Allen will have an opportunity to lock in his claim and keep his gift relevant. Time will tell how things work out.
