In 2021, Odell Beckham Jr. made a very risky decision when finalizing the terms of his contract with the Los Angeles Rams.

Of course, he would quickly sign with the team after being released by the Cleveland Browns, and after winning a Super Bowl with the team, it certainly looked like the right decision.

However, he came under intense scrutiny when he opted to get his $750,000 base salary in Bitcoin. According to Law Stein Anderson, when he signed the contract, it was worth $64,293.

It was a questionable move at the time, and it only got worse: At one point in 2022, Bitcoin had dropped to $16,000.

He recently went to X to show that Bitcoin is now worth $92,017.7 and added the caption “Soooo who said taking my Rams salary in bitcoin was dumb again?”

Of course, even without Beckham’s smart move, it’s not like he would be desperate for money.

Throughout his career, he has earned just over $101 million, with his best contract with the Browns, where he earned $45 million through his two-and-a-half years with the team.

The Writing Is On The Way For Odell Beckham Jr.’s Career

Odell was one of the most iconic wide receivers in the NFL for a decade, but his career is close to being done.

In 2024, with the Dolphins, he recorded five receptions for 32 yards and one touchdown.

It’s certainly a fall from grace, but at 32 years old, this is typically when someone in Beckham’s position starts to decline.

It would not be a surprise if this were Odell’s last year in the league.

Tua Tagovailoa coming back from injury may prove to be a little too late.

The Miami Dolphins are 2-6 and cannot afford to lose many more games before the 2024 season becomes a complete wash.

The return of Tua Tagovailoa to the NFL remains a topic of debate despite him being okay through two games so far.

His name was brought up this week, but when it pertained to Donald Trump winning the United States presidential election.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s mother, Diane, appeared to love what she was hearing and seeing as she took to social media and said, “God bless America, land that I love 🇺🇸”

Unfortunately for her, she received a lot of backlash from fans who had a lot to say.

Some of them kept it respectable while others went way too far.

On Wednesday morning, Tua Tagovailoa’s mother once again returned to her X account, this time with screenshots showing one guy taking a disgusting shot at Samoans and the Dolphins quarterback.

First, the person stated, “Samoans and neighbors all wants to be accepted by the White crowd so bad lmao. Yall are nothing more than Mexicans to white folks. Them crack still don’t like your kind.”

The person continued: “Alabama really got your (to) heads. Glad your son got no where as a pro and how is Tua’s smashed up brains?”

The person then stated, “I hope Tua dies on his next brutal hit.”

In the meantime, the Miami Dolphins’ quarterback Tua Tagovailoa earned the team MVP title for Week Nine as he completed 25 of 28 passes (89.3%) for 231 yards and two touchdowns against Buffalo.

Unfortunately, his play was not good enough for him to will his team to a victory.

Tua Tagovailoa Is Playing Good, But Fear Still Remains

Tua Tagovailoa returned to the field amid concussion concerns.

He jogged onto the Dolphins’ home field to roaring approval from fans six weeks after he sustained the third concussion of his NFL career.

The long-term health consequences of such injuries are still unclear, but the longer he is out on the field, the fear of another head injury will always be there.

Concussions can lead to serious long-term effects, including chronic traumatic encephalopathy.
