It turns out that Jason Kelce could possibly have some explaining to do following his altercation with a Penn State student on Saturday.

Kelce, who’s now with ESPN following his retirement from professional football earlier this year, was at Beaver Stadium for the Nittany Lions’ clash with the Ohio State Buckeyes, making an appearance on ‘College GameDay.’

The former Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman found himself hounded by students, with one using a homophobic slur to describe his brother, Travis Kelce.

Jason responded by snatching the fan’s phone and then smashing it, as you can see in the video below:

While reports from Sunday noted that the incident wasn’t being looked into as no report was made, the school has reached out to TPS to confirm otherwise.

“University Police and Public Safety (UPPS) did not release a formal statement on the incident in question,” they wrote in an email. “University Police and Public Safety is the investigating agency for this incident and that process is ongoing.”

Travis Kelce Shocked By Jason Kelce Incident

This might not be behind Jason Kelce just yet, but should he be taken to task, he isn’t expected to be required to fork over anything more than what it would cost the student to get a new phone.

Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Travis Kelce was shocked by the altercation as he feels like his brother is one of the nicest guys around and doesn’t understand why someone would want to heckle him in such a manner.

Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs will play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night. Jason will preview the game on ESPN’s ‘Monday Night Countdown.’

Taylor Swift has responded after Jason Kecle slammed a fan’s phone on the floor following a derogatory comment about his brother’s relationship.

A video posted on social media went insanely viral, showing an enraged Jason snatching a phone from a disrespectful fan and smashing it to the ground.

After he did that, he would call the fan a slur back that was said about his brother.

“Who’s the (homophobic slur) now?” Kelce asked.

The fan seemed to shout: “Kelce! How does it feel that your brother’s a f—— dating Taylor Swift?”

The iconic music star reportedly had a one-word reaction to the incident: “Shocked.”

The Daily Mail provided more information:

“Taylor and Travis were both really shocked by this, considering Jason is one of the nicest guys in the world,” the report states.

“It really became clear how much he loves and respects Taylor. Travis means the world to him. The use of the word (expletive) is not okay with him nor anyone. This fan crossed the line. Jason will never stand for anyone insulting his family, and he views Taylor as family now.”

Jason Kelce has yet to speak about the incident, as he is likely to wait until the next podcast episode to address it.

Will Taylor Swift Keep Her Distance From Jason Kelce After He Dropped Homophobic Slur?

Taylor Swift has undoubtedly seen the tense confrontation at a college football game when Jason Kelce chucked a fan’s phone to the ground following a homophobic remark directed at his brother.

The altercation unfolded Saturday at Penn State, where Jason was present as a guest analyst for ESPN’s “College GameDay” coverage.

Footage of him walking showed a fan shouting, “Hey Kelce! How does it feel your brother is a f-ggot for dating Taylor Swift?”

The homophobic comment not only struck a nerve but it elicited a response when Jason turned to confront the individual and seized his phone before slamming it to the ground.

Kelce also said the slur back.

Taylor Swift, who has been publicly dating Travis Kelce since last fall, has seemingly shown support for Kelce after the incident.

It does not appear that the incident will put a strain on their relationship.
