Tom Brady is reportedly eyeing a reunion with legendary head coach Bill Belichick in Sin City.

In one of the more surprising developments of the 2024 NFL offseason, Bill Belichick was passed over in the head coach hiring cycle following his departure from the New England Patriots. The Atlanta Falcons were the only team that interviewed Belichick, but they hired Raheem Morris instead.

On Tuesday, NFL owners approved of Brady’s bid to become a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. The team, owned by Mark Davis, is enduring a frustrating season (2-4) that could spark massive changes in 2025.

One of those changes could involve the head coaching position if Antonio Pierce can’t improve this group down the stretch. If that happens, Brady will reportedly look to reunite with Bill Belichick in Vegas.

During the latest edition of “The Kirk Minihane Show”, the popular podcaster reported that Brady plans to reach out to Belichick and see if there’s interest in becoming the Raiders’ net head coach:

“People have told me that Brady’s first move is going to ask Bill Belichick if he’s interested in being coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. Two sources have told me that, two high up in the Patriots organization have told me that.”

Brady and Belichick, of course, were together with the New England Patriots from 2000 to 2019. They led the Patriots to nine AFC Championships and six Super Bowl championships (2001, 2003, 2004, 2014, 2016 and 2018) to become the greatest dynasty in NFL history.

It’s been widely reported that the seven-time Super Bowl champion left New England because of a soured relationship with Belichick. But of course, Brady wouldn’t have to deal with him as a player on a day-to-day basis, so there’s no reason to think a reunion in Vegas would go sideways.

Bill Belichick Would Give The Raiders Coaching Stability

Since Mark Davis inherited the team from his late father, Al, in 2011, the Raiders have had eight different head coaches. Jon Gruden was the longest-tenured HC in that period, from 2018 until his resignation in 2021.

The Raiders need coaching stability, which they had with John Madden and Tom Flores in their glory days of the ’70s and ’80s. Belichick, the greatest coach in history, would provide just that.

The six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach has been in a whirlwind relationship with his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.

Belichick and Hudson are still going strong, and things may be taken to the next level.

The Daily Mail reported this week that Belichick has found himself in a “bit of a crossroads” in his life thanks to his relationship with 24-year-old Jordon Hudson.

Belichick believes his relationship with Hudson is “blossoming into something that is going to lead to marriage.”

“There is still a drive to coach again and break the wins record, but his life now isn’t that bad as he has been enjoying doing TV and absolutely enjoying his relationship with his girlfriend Jordon that is blossoming into something that is going to lead to marriage,” the outlet reported. “He wants to be with her all of the time, but she is pushing him to see the options that he will have for next season because she knows that makes him happy.”

The Daily Mail further added Bill Belichick could have “more options” in coaching after taking a year off from the game.

“After a year removed from the game on the field, he is going to have some more options, but as it looks now, he will be making the decision not just for himself but with the love of his life, as he wants her to be happy with any decision he is meant to make on any offers he will be given,” the outlet said.

The couple sparked romance rumors in 2023 when they were spotted on multiple public outings. Several NFL players subsequently poked fun at his love life, but nobody truly knew who was in his life until Hudson confirmed their relationship one year later when she shared photos of her and Bill Belichick, writing via Instagram, “Summation of Summer.”

After the Dallas Cowboys fell to 3-3 with a blowout 47-9 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday, there’s reportedly been speculation that head coach Mike McCarthy might be out of a job before the season can end.

Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reported “many around the league wonder if Dallas could become the primary landing spot for” former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick this offseason.

Schultz added that “multiple sources” said Belichick has a “really great” relationship with Jerry Jones and his family.

Belichick is currently spending the 2024 season as an analyst on multiple networks.
