Football fans are in shambles after learning that two popular streaming websites have been shut down…less than two weeks before the 2024-25 NFL playoffs commence.

Today, fans of all sorts were stunned and saddened to hear that Methstreams and Crackstreams have been shut down. Both were popular streaming sites for live sports events, and the timing couldn’t be worse for football fans with the NFL playoffs right around the corner.

This development comes just two weeks after YouTube TV also enraged NFL fans by announcing that their service will go from $72.99 to $82.99 per month in the new year, with the playoffs set to begin in January.

Social media had plenty to say following the news that Methstreams and Crackstreams have been shut down:

“A massive L for us all. But there is always another,” said one fan.

“Appreciate what you have while you still got it fellas. You never know when it’s going to be taken away from you” wrote another.

“Right before playoff ball that’s crazy but low-key feel like a NBA move after all the recent talk about their ratings,” a fan suggested.

“Better start saving,” quipped another.

“Sad sad day in America.” a fan wrote.

“Good, how poor are these peeps to resorts to this shit?” another ranted.

“🤧,” responded Seattle Seahawks star cornerback Tariq Woolen:

12 of the 14 berths for the NFL playoffs have been determined, with only the NFC South division champion (Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Atlanta Falcons) and the AFC’s last wild card spot (between the Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals).

What To Know For 2024-25 NFL Playoffs

The 2024-25 NFL playoffs will begin on January 11, with two Wild Card Round games taking place on the Saturday. Three games will run on Sunday, with the sixth opening round contest running on the Monday.

For the first time ever, Amazon Prime Video will broadcast an NFL playoff game as well. Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit will be on the call for a Wild Card Round game before the network signs off for the year.

Super Bowl 59 will mark the conclusion of the playoffs, with the NFC and AFC champions facing off in the big game on Feb. 11 inside the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Deion Sanders Calls Out “Multiple Idiots” Over Draft Rumors Involving His Son Shedeur Sanders

Deion Sanders has no more games to coach for Colorado, so he has some time on his hands.

Colorado’s head coach blew up on X on Monday, and while he did not mention anyone, it started to become clear what he was speaking of.

On social media, Sanders called out “multiple idiots” who “will say things that totally aren’t true” about the Colorado head coach and where he might want Shedeur and Shilo to end up when it comes to the NFL Draft.

“It will be multiple IDIOTS that will say things that totally aren’t true regarding where I would like @ShedeurSanders & @ShiloSanders to play in the @nfl. If I say it I will say it directly to whom it may concern not a attention seeker. I do know @nflcommish personally! [Mic] drop,” Sanders tweeted.

Deion Sanders claims he won’t influence where his sons go in the draft, but he has gone on record to state that he would step in if Shedeur, Shilo, or Travis Hunter were drafted to teams he didn’t want them to play for.

“All this is subjective because I know where I kind of want them to go,” Sanders said in March. “And let’s not forget Shilo (Sanders). But I know where I want them to go. There’s certain cities where it ain’t going to happen. … It’s going to be an Eli (Manning).”

Shedeur has made it clear that he would be fine playing for the Raiders or Giants, who both had the number one pick in the draft before losing it.

Shedeur is coming off a tremendous final collegiate season, during which he threw for 4,134 passing yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions, adding another four scores on the ground.

Deion Sanders Appeared To be Bamboozled By Fake Account

Colorado coach Deion Sanders was not happy on Monday.

Sanders lashed out at the baseless allegation that he didn’t want his son, Shedeur, to play for the Browns and Titans.

Unfortunately for Sanders, it appears he got fooled by a satirical account.

In a since-deleted post, Sanders replied, “I got time today,” to a post from a fake account (@WesSteinberg).

The account “reported” that Shedeur Sanders did not want to play for the Cleveland Browns or Tennessee Titans.

Deion Sanders made it clear that several people are making false claims about his sons, Shedeur and Shilo, on social media.

Unfortunately, he may want to double-check before he goes after an account that is known for purposely making up lies for engagement.
