Social media detectives believe they’ve uncovered evidence that Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Cooper Kupp is about to be traded to a top NFC team.
On Tuesday, Dianna Russini, Mike Silver and Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reported that the Rams have spoken to other clubs about a potential Cooper Kupp trade. It was noted that Los Angeles is eyeing a second-round pick as part of the return.
The Rams (2-4) will unlikely make the postseason this year amid a rash of injuries. so it’s no surprise that Kupp is available in a trade. Fellow star wide receiver Puka Nacua has been sidelined since Week 2 with a knee injury, though he returned to practice this week and is closing in on a return to action.
The Nov. 5 trade deadline is less than two weeks away, so the Rams have time to negotiate multiple offers for Cooper Kupp. But some heads-up fans on social media believe that Kupp’s next team has already been determined.
That team would be the Minnesota Vikings, who visit the Rams at SoFi Stadium on “Thursday Night Football.” These fans believe a Kupp trade will be completed after the Week 8 prime-time contest.

The Vikings don’t exactly need wide receiver help with the dynamic pass-catching trio of Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and TJ Hockenson. But adding a player with big-game experience like Cooper Kupp, who won Super Bowl 56 MVP honors with the Rams, would certainly bolster the offense.
Cooper Kupp Could Be The Final Piece Of A Super Bowl Puzzle
Kupp has suffered numerous injuries over the last three seasons, being limited to 21 games in 2022 and 2023. But the 31-year-old is still a giant difference-maker when healthy, and he could easily be the final piece for a team competing for the Super Bowl this year.
The Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers are among the other teams that could use Kupp for a Super Bowl push.

If the Los Angeles Rams fall out of the playoff race over the next couple of weeks, GM Les Snead should seriously consider shopping Super Bowl 56 MVP and star wide receiver Cooper Kupp.
The 31-year-old Cooper Kupp is under contract through the 2026 season, but the Rams must seriously consider whether it’s worth keeping him for the remainder of his deal. He was limited to 21 games over the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
Kupp has missed the Rams’ last two games with an ankle injury and has already been ruled out for Week 5 vs. the Green Bay Packers. If the Rams wait until after this season to move out Kupp, the return will be considerably lower than what they could get now.
Many Super Bowl hopefuls may be hesitant to pay much for an injury-prone wide receiver on the wrong side of 30. But one AFC heavyweight stands out as a logical landing spot for Cooper Kupp, and that team shouldn’t be afraid to aggressively pursue him.
That team would be Lamar Jackson’s Baltimore Ravens, who are cruising with back-to-back statement wins over the Dallas Cowboys and Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills. Baltimore will always be a run-focused offense with Jackson and running back Derrick Henry, but what if they added another weapon for the reigning MVP?

When healthy, Cooper Kupp is a consistent threat for 1,000 receiving yards. His quickness, route-running skills and ability to stretch the field make him a nightmare to guard in man coverage.
What Ravens Should Offer Rams For Cooper Kupp
With Kupp under contract for two more seasons, Baltimore GM Eric DeCosta should take the risk and offer the Rams a 2025 third-round pick and a 2026 sixth-round pick, with Kupp and a 2026 fifth-round pick heading to the Ravens.
A Ravens offense with Jackson, Henry, Kupp, Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews would push Baltimore that much closer to a Super Bowl championship. The Ravens didn’t have Kupp or Henry last year, but these two together could be the final parts of a Super Bowl puzzle for John Harbaugh’s group.
