LeBron James is being destroyed online following a tweet he shared defending Deshaun Watson.
The Cleveland Browns quarterback is likely out for the rest of the season after sustaining a ruptured Achilles during Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Fans were heard cheering after Watson went down, and they have since been criticized by other Browns players, including Jameis Winston.

“I am very upset with the reaction to a man that has had the world against him for the past four years, and he put his body and life on the line for this city every single day,” Winston said after the game. “Regardless of your perception, regardless of what you thought should happen with him, he committed every single day that I’ve been here to be the best that he can be for this team.”
LeBron James Chimes In
James added his two cents via social media.
“Cleveland Fans! Yall know how much we’ve been thru throughout the years both good, bad and indifferent,” he wrote. “With that being said booing anyone that’s down with an injury let alone your own player is LAME AF!! To the ones who didn’t [salute].”

LBJ ended up taking heat after that.
“i think it’s okay to boo a serial sexual predator,” a fan commented.
“idk man I think the reason people are booing him is because he sexually assaulted more than two dozen people,” another wrote.
“You were def at the parties,” said a third.
“First Diddy, now Deshaun. You arent beating the allegations King,” a fourth noted.
“LeDiddy James,” someone joked.
“The King defending a 24x sexual predator will surely go over well,” said a fan.
“We might be lame, but at least we ain’t down with predators,” a comment read.
Meanwhile, the superstar forward is heading into year 22 this week, with the Lakers to kick their 2-24/25 NBA season off with a Western Conference showdown vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Bronny James has faced significant scrutiny since choosing to follow in his father, LeBron James’ footsteps in the NBA. Being the son of a four-time NBA champion brings immense expectations, and over the years, Bronny has shown great courage in confronting these challenges.
The elder James has always been a vocal supporter of his son. He once again stood by him during a media session on Monday. When asked about Bronny’s experience with the Los Angeles Lakers so far, LeBron didn’t hesitate to remind everyone that his son is now a “grown man” and “professional.”
“You got to ask him. He’s a grown man; ask him how he’s handling it, and we’ll go from there. He’s a grown man; he’s a professional; he can handle it,” James said.
Bronny’s performance in recent preseason games has drawn attention. The Lakers rookie has averaged just 0.7 points, one rebound, and 0.3 assists per game over three contests.
LeBron James Reflects On Teaming Up With Stephen Curry In The Olympics
LeBron James and Stephen Curry, who had spent years as rivals, finally joined forces on the international stage, representing Team USA. During his media availability, LeBron reflected on his experience of teaming up with Curry for the first time in the Olympics.
“It was everything, and more. I was super excited to be able to finally team up with him; you know, in that type of atmosphere, that’s what it was. Being part of the Olympics was everything I’d dreamed of and inspired to wanna be a part of that along with Steph. Great memories,” James said.

LeBron and Curry helped lead Team USA to their fifth consecutive gold medal. As the Paris Olympics may mark their final Olympic appearance, the chances of seeing the two team up on the court again are slim.
