Despite the bitter ending to her previous marriages, Kim Kardashian refused to let her past spoil her search for true love. She claims that she will always be a hopeless romantic.

However, she added that she will always believe in love and still dreams of having a great and perfect relationship with the right person. Although she admitted that her past relationships changed her idea of love, she knows she needs to be a little more realistic instead of dreaming of a fairytale-like love story.

But, despite always being in the spotlight, she rarely talks about her marriage with her first husband, record producer Damon Thomas. Unfortunately for Kim who has been accused of Photoshop fails numerous times, she seemed to have gone through a lot at a very young age. How Kim Kardashian And First Husband Damon Thomas Met

Damon Thomas is known for his production group, The Underdogs, which he runs with Harvey Mason Jr. The pair has worked with several distinguished artists since their label started, including Pink, Chris Brown, Lionel Richie, and much more. The reality TV star billionaire met the music producer Damon Thomas when she was just 18 years old, and Thomas was about ten years her senior.

The ex-couple met around 1998 and eventually eloped after about a year of getting to know each other. They got married in Las Vegas; Kim was only 19 years old. According to Thomas, he met the owner of Skims, a company with different collections including a stay home sleepwear collection, when she was still with Michael and Janet Jackson’s nephew. She then developed an interest in Thomas and pursued him.

 

 

The marriage between Kim and Thomas did not pan out. They got divorced in 2004 after about three years of marriage. The couple’s divorce proceeding was brutal and was initiated by Thomas. Thomas filed for divorce following their separation.

Kim claimed that he was controlling and ab*sive towards her. Kim further alleged that he made her life a living h*ll as she suffered domestic violence at the hands of the music producer.

Kim Kardashian Admits To Being Intoxicated During Her First Wedding

Kim Kardashian admitted that she was high on ecstasy when she got married to Damon Thomas. She has been vocal about her regrets about pushing through with her first marriage.

Kim added that at the time, she had always depended on the guy she was in a relationship with. During Kim’s Harper’s Bazaar interview, Kim stated that she would like to shake herself up and wake up from her foolish decisions.


Kim Kardashian also spoke about her previous mistakes on one episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”. She said that every time she is high on ecstasy, she does something she regrets. She added that she was high when she got married to Thomas and was also high when she made an adult tape. She believes that when she’s high, everything bad would happen.

 

Despite claims Kim, Thomas dispelled her claims during his interview with VladTV and stated that he does not remember her being intoxicated on their wedding day. He believes that Kim should be more responsible when making a statement about their marriage. He added that it is unfair that she is making such claims, especially since they both have kids now. Both of their kids go to the same school, and the statements of Kim makes him a little uneasy since his kid has to deal with that at school.

The Real Reason Kim Kardashian Split Up With Her First Husband

As per the legal documents published by the Daily Mail UK, Kim claimed in court that he would punch her in the face, throw her across the room and even slam her against walls. These actions of Thomas left her with lasting visual, physical results. Aside from the physical ab*se, he was also verbally abusive as he kept asking her to get liposuction to be in great shape and gave her $3,650 for the procedures.

When they were together, Kim who is friends with Ciara has worked as sales personnel at a shop in Los Angeles. Thomas made her quit her job since he wanted her to be at his beck and call.

At one point, Kim claims that he asked her to cook a meal for him when he arrived home at 4:30 am. He also controlled her every move and would not let her spend some time with her family and friends. She added that he would start fights during family gatherings and would claim that her sisters and mother were all evil. Thomas denied these claims, asserting that Kim just wanted to hurt him and tarnish his reputation.

 

Thankfully, after their marriage ended, she has since become successful and thrived in her way. Her life experiences seem to bring out the best in her. She stated that as she grows older, she learns so much from all her relationships. She added that her tolerance level is so much different, especially after years of being in not-so-great relationships. The ex-wife of Kanye added that she’s a changed woman now who will not settle for something less than she deserves.
