Adam Schefter has become infamous for his ability to break an NFL news story at any time, no matter where he is or what he’s doing. That now includes some very intimate moments.
While on the “This Is Football” show, host Kevin Clark asked Schefter “The weirdest place you’ve broken a story is what?”
Adam immediately started chuckling and looking around the room as if seriously contemplating whether to give his true answer.
After about 20 seconds of awkward silence, Shcefter finally gave his answer.
“I can remember being in Denver one time and I was, how do I say this?” Schefter said. “I just spent time with this woman for the first time, and got a text that Dale Carter was being suspended. I think it was for eight games for substance abuse. So I continued to lay there, confirm it, and got the job done, Kevin. In every which way.”
I asked @AdamSchefter the weirdest place he’s ever broken a story. I cannot possibly recommend this clip more.

Needless to say, social media had a lot to say about Schefty’s confession:

Clark was not ready for the brutally honest answer, so he said, ” I’m just staring straight at the camera, buddy,“ while laughing.
In all fairness, though, this might be the last thing Dale Carter wants to hear. Knowing that the biggest NFL insider broke his suspension news because of substance abuse while having intercourse with a woman.
Adam Schefter Reveals Major News About The New York Jets
The New York Jets fired general manager Joe Douglas about a month after firing head coach Robert Saleh.
Of course, a rebuild is bound to happen, and Schefter was there to confirm it.
“It’s a complete overhaul in New York,” Schefter said while on the “Pat McAfee Show.” “This move clearly means Woody Johnson was losing patience, and when you watch the team, you can’t help but be discouraged right now.”
ESPN’s Adam Schefter Denies Participation In Illegal Activity Despite Being Caught Red-Handed

Adam Schefter has denied participating in an illegal activity plenty of NFL fans are proud to admit they dabble in.
The ESPN insider was the subject of jokes while being lauded as “one of us” after posting a clip from last week’s ‘Thursday Night Football’ fixture between the New York Jets and Houston Texans.
The clip did not come from Prime Video, with fans noticing a Meth Streams watermark in the top left corner. This came as quite a shock as Adam could easily afford to pay for Amazon Prime and is one of the biggest sports insiders in the United States.
Front Office Sports later reported that the clip didn’t come from Schefter directly but from a third-party source, and he had shared it without noticing the watermark.
Adam Schefter Goes On Record About Meth Streams
Pat McAfee sought confirmation from the man himself, calling him while he was with his doctor (and apparently shirtless) to ask what was up with the Meth Streams link shown in his post.

Schefty confirmed that he indeed pays for Prime, and his wife uses a lot more money than it takes to keep a monthly subscription running.
“The most ridiculous thing — that I was accused of trying to save $8.99 a month when my wife spends an average of $8.99 a minute with Amazon,” he told McAfee. “I can’t even figure out how to sign up and they’re accusing me of trying to get around it with Meth Streams.”
Well, that’s certainly a relief.
ESPN’s biggest insider not having his own Prime account would definitely be embarrassing for all involved.
Then again, LeBron James has been caught using Streameast out in public, so who knows?
