Philadelphia Eagles fans couldn’t help but taunt Jerry Jones during their beatdown of the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon.
Despite Jalen Hurts missing Sunday’s game because of a concussion, the Eagles dismantled Jerry Jones’ Cowboys 41-7 to secure the season-series sweep. Saquon Barkley also joined the 2,000 rushing yard club after racking up 167 yards on the ground.
With the game out of hand, the boisterous Eagles crowd taunted Jones and the visitors by chanting “Dallas sucks.” Jones sat there expressionless as the Philly faithful rubbed the salt in the wound:
Another Ugly Chapter In Forgettable Season For Jerry Jones & Cowboys
This season has been a complete disappointment for Dallas, who had high expectations after recording three straight 12-win seasons that included two NFC East division crowns.

But getting swept in the season series by the archrival Eagles may be the real low of 2024, especially since they didn’t have Hurts in this one. Even with backup QB Kenny Pickett leaving the game to injury, the Philly offense didn’t miss a beat with third-stringer Tanner McKee taking over under center.

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith teed off on Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, even comparing him to U.S. president Joe Biden.
Jerry Jones has faced immense and justified criticism for the Cowboys’ struggles this season. Jones said in January that Dallas would be “all-in,” yet he didn’t make a single blockbuster move in the offseason.
Jones didn’t extend superstars CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott until August and September, respectively. Needing to put cap space aside for those two stars, no big moves were to be made in September once Jones completed the extensions.
Speaking on ESPN’s “First Take”, Smith expressed concern about Jones’ health and compared him to Biden. Amid concerns about his physical and mental health, Biden announced in the summer that he wouldn’t seek re-election for president.
“I’m getting very very worried about Jerry Jones. I find myself thinking about Joe Biden before he backed out of running for reelection. i think Jerry’s only one month older than President Joe Biden for crying out loud…
Somebody in your inner circle has to be able to stop you from just adding fuel to the fire, because it’s so bad right now, they’ve literally took the fun out of it.”

Jerry Jones (82), is only one month older than Biden, who celebrated his birthday on Wednesday. Donald Trump won the election over Biden’s vice president, Kamala Harris, and will return to the office in January.
The Cowboys, losers of five straight are 3-7 heading into Sunday’s contest against the NFC East rival Washington Commanders. With Prescott (hamstring surgery) done for the year, the Cowboys’ playoff hopes are all but done for.
Jerry Jones Made This Mess Of A 2024 Season
As the GM of the Cowboys, Jerry Jones is solely responsible for the failures of the Cowboys this year. He didn’t make any big moves to improve the roster and stood by Mike McCarthy despite another miserable postseason loss.
The Cowboys lost several key contributors from last year, including Tyron Smith, Tony Pollard, Stephon Gilmore, Dorance Armstrong and Dante Fowler Jr. Jones had it in his mind that this roster was good enough to win, despite a single playoff win during the McCarthy era.
Unfortunately for Cowboys fans, Jones’ history shows he won’t do anything significant to improve the roster in the offseason.
