Michael Irvin may have initiated a back-and-forth with Shannon Sharpe amid the drama surrounding Travis Hunter and his girlfriend.

Sharpe discussed the situation during Monday’s episode of his ‘Nightcap’ podcast with Chad Johnson, pointing out that Hunter’s girlfriend was putting too much of their business out there.

Irvin was among those who reacted to Sharpe’s take, accusing the former NFL tight end of a code violation. “CODE VIALATION N***A!!!!!!!” he tweeted. “I love you to LIFE but STOP!!!!! 🙏🏿💪🏾.”

Social Media Didn’t Get What Michael Irvin Was Talking About

Folks on social media weren’t sure what exactly Sharpe violated.

“How’s this a violation?” one asked.

“He didn’t say nothing wrong it’s no worse then you pushing the narrative that prime needs to leave Colorado ,” another wrote.

“being in 20 year old’s interpersonal business publicly is not the way to go,” suggested a third.

“Am I missing something… what the hell did Unc say that was a code violation.. being 50 plus talking about a code violation is the VIOLATION,” a user claimed.

“Mike been hanging out w/ Cam, Mase, & Stat too much cus the “Code Vialation N**ga” is wild! 😂😂😂,” another laughed.

“It took me five reads to realize how he spelled “violation” 😂😂😂😂,” a comment read.

Of course, we understand that Michael’s frustrations are the same as Travis’, they just want people to stop talking about his relationship. But did Shannon say anything wrong?

Leanna Lenee, Travis Hunter’s girlfriend, has made a curious move on social media amid the criticism she’s been receiving over the past few days.

Hardly removed from the sideline incident in which she was caught on camera refusing a kiss from the Colorado defensive back and then arguing with him, Lenee had to be prompted to stand up to applaud Hunter after he was named college’s 90th Heisman on Saturday.

She has also been taking heat for her behavior while the CU star posed for pics with fans.

Lenee has had to field accusations of being a “gold digger,” especially after recently admitting Hunter wasn’t her type and that she initially spurned his advances before he broke her defenses down.

She has since taken certain steps to reduce the negative messages she’s been getting, making her Instagram account, which has over 100,000 followers, private.

Travis Hunter Defended Leanna Lenee In Fiery Rant

Meanwhile, Travis Hunter has spoken up in defense of his other half, warning everyone to stay out of his business and also revealing Leanna Lenee had drunk and cried herself to sleep.

“You ain’t never had no girl so why are y’all talking about me,” he said in a Twitch stream. “Find someone else to talk about… Go talk about your girl. Go find a girl. Go find a life. Stop worrying about what I got going on. I know what I got.

“My girl been with me for five years. y’all are just now starting to talk about me… y’all go do something else with y’all life. Clickbait pages stop, y’all better stop I’m telling y’all. Something bad is gonna happen to y’all [if you] keep doing that. Y’all better stop that. I ain’t playing.”
