There could be some extra heat in Miami on Mike McDaniel over his recent comments.

The Miami Dolphins hosted the San Francisco 49ers at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday. Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, and Mike McDaniel needed a win to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.

They did just that as they walked away with a 29-19 victory. At 7-8, the Dolphins still have a chance to finish with a winning record for a fifth consecutive season.

After the game, Mike McDaniel decided to do some recruiting, but in a subtle way.

Cameras caught him embracing Nick Bosa and saying, “South Florida is pretty cool.”

On the outside, it seems like he was just complimenting the state, but many read between the lines to see that he was trying to get Bosa on the Dolphins.

Mike McDaniel Might Be On The Hot Seat

The Dolphins are on the outside of the playoffs entering another critical week where they have to keep winning wile hoping other teams lose.

Mike McDaniel signed a three-year extension in August, but some are wondering about his future. The team has not won a single playoff game while he has been there.

The Dolphins had a similar underwhelming playoff performance last season, losing to the Chiefs 26-7.

Some have wondered about the team’s ceiling under Mike McDaniel since the team has been good at beating bad teams but struggles against teams above .500.

The Dolphins’ offense, featuring Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and De’Von Achane, is great, yet they too often struggle when the lights are the brightest.

The Miami Dolphins are in need of prayer after wide receiver Grant DuBose suffered a scary head injury in the third quarter of the game against the Houston Texans.

The Texans are playing their first game without linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair after he had an illegal hit on Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

The hit rookie safety Calen Bullock delivered garnered a flag and will most certainly get him fined.

Bullock pummeled Dolphins receiver Grant DuBose, who went into the fencing pose as a sign of a significant head injury.

The Dolphins are already down Jaylen Waddle, who exited the game with a significant knee injury.

The team would have to cut the jersey off DuBose because his injuries were so bad.

The Miami Dolphins also released Odell Beckham Jr. last week.

For the season, Grant DuBose only had one catch for 13 yards and zero touchdowns on the year.

The Miami Dolphins Desperately Need To Win Over Texans

The Dolphins need to keep their season alive with a victory over the Texans.

The team is 6-7 and has an outside chance to get a wild card spot, but they can ill afford a loss.
