The Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs squared off during Sunday Night Football. As always, Jim Nantz and Tony Romo were on the call, and a call made by Nantz had fans in shambles on social media.

The Bills won the game by a score of 30 to 21, and a play late in the fourth quarter had fans on social media going wild after Jim Nantz claimed that Bills receiver Khalil Shakir had just gotten something quite interesting done to him.

Shakir caught a pass on a third downplay while Buffalo was ahead by a score of just 23-21. Driving down the field late in the fourth quarter, he took a big hit and held on to the ball for a crucial first down.

Nantz didn’t say anything like that. While he was clearly impressed with the receiver’s ability to hang on to the ball, he also mentioned that “Cook absolutely blasted his back,” and social media is going insane after the hilarious choice of wording.

Jim Nantz Claims Chiefs Player “Blasted” Khalil Shakir’s Back

One fan commented, laughing at Nantz, claiming that the broadcast knew what he had said. It’s very possible that the broadcaster knew, as this is far from the first time he has said something questionable.

Another NFL fan took Nantz’s comments a little further by adding to what he said. “Bent him back like a rag doll,” went user David Bachman, clearly show that Nantz held back on what he could have said during the broadcast.

Other fans didn’t have to say any words. After hearing what Nantz said, one replied with an image of Shaq calling a timeout, while another fan used a gif of Steve Harvey simply smiling at what the broadcaster said.

After everything is said and done, we’ll never know what Nantz really meant to say, but it’s hilarious either way!

NFL Fans Are Furious With Tony Romo Over His Political Comments During Cowboys-Eagles Game

Tony Romo was trying to show love to a former President, and in doing so, he is getting blasted for what he said.

Jim Nantz and former Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo are currently on the call for the NFC East matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles.

The Dallas Cowboys are hosting the Philadelphia Eagles at AT&T Stadium in a game that the home team desperately needs to win to keep its 2024 season together.

Like every other home game, some stars came out to watch it, including a former President.

Former United States president George W. Bush and his wife, Barbara Bush, were spotted in a suite inside AT&T Stadium, and the Fox broadcast went live to show them on TV.

Tony Romo didn’t hold back his opinion of Bush when CBS’s cameras panned to him on Sunday.

“He’s very impressive. He loves sports, he loves America. One of the greatest human beings you’ll ever meet,” Romo said, per Awful Announcing.

Fans hated everything Tony Romo had to say about George Bush. He neglected many things on his resume that, in the minds of many, make him one of the worst Presidents in United States history.

Tony Romo Meant Well But Could’ve Done Better With His Comments

During Sunday’s broadcast, Romo called George W. Bush “One of the greatest human beings you’ll ever meet” and got ripped for it.

He likely did not mean anything malicious about it, but it was also rather unlikely that he would take many shots at a former US president while live on Fox.

Maybe next time, he’ll just acknowledge that he is in the rebuilding and get back to the game.
