Amid the ongoing dating rumors between Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo and two-time WNBA champion A’ja Wilson, the 27-year-old NBA center has added fuel to the fire with a recent social media post. Meanwhile, A’ja Wilson has been spectacular in the 2024 season as she chases her third MVP title.

After becoming the first player in WNBA history to cross the 1000-point mark in a season, several fans and family members congratulated A’ja Wilson on social media. However, the fans were highly anticipating a reaction from Bam Adebayo, who is rumored to be dating the WNBA star.

The Miami Heat star shared a humorous one-liner on X to congratulate the Aces center. Adebayo wrote, “Hope everybody finds A’thousand reasons to smile on this lovely Sunday.” The three-time NBA MVP combined “a thousand” as Wilson writes her first name.

Will A’ja Wilson Win The 2024 WNBA MVP?

The Heat center and Las Vegas Aces star both captured gold with Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics, representing the men’s and women’s basketball teams, respectively. Continuing her success, the two-time WNBA MVP shattered an insane scoring record this season. During the game against the Connecticut Suns on Sunday, Wilson scored 29 points, becoming the first WNBA star to score 1,000 points in a single regular season.

Last Week, Wilson broke two-time WNBA champion Jewell Loyd’s single-season scoring record (939 points). The two-time WNBA Defensive Player of the Year leads the league in points and blocks while averaging a career-best rebounding season.

With two games remaining before the playoffs, the Las Vegas Aces have managed the fourth spot in the 2024 WNBA standings. Wilson and the Aces are looking to win the WNBA championship this season for the third consecutive time. The Aces center is the frontrunner in the 2024 MVP race as she has a chance to level Sheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslie, and Lauren Jackson as the leading WNBA MVP winners, each with three honors.
