Instead of Tuesday and Wednesday night episodes, AGT will air on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

Wednesday will be the two-hour performance episode with the 12 acts that made it through the Quarterfinals.

It will air at 8/7c on NBC.

Thursday will then serve as the results show at 8/7c on NBC.

This change is happening because the presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris is taking place on Tuesday night.

The debate is airing on ABC at 9pm as well as Hulu, Disney+, and ABC News Live.

The schedule for AGT goes back to normal next week for the two-day finale.

Some fans asked “why” the show was delayed a day on social media after AGT said on Tuesday that they would “see everyone tomorrow.”

OTHER INTERFERENCES

Although AGT is getting pushed back a day, it doesn’t mean that nothing else will interfere with it.

Wednesday is another big night for TV.

At 8/7c, Big Brother will air a new episode on CBS.

The MTV Video Music Awards are also airing at the same time on multiple channels.

And on Thursday, Big Brother airs again at the same time as AGT.

Football begins at 8:15 when the Buffalo Bills take on the Miami Dolphins.
