Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes wants everyone to vote in the upcoming election.
The Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback has declined to comment on this year’s presidential race while urging voters in an interview to do their own research before the election.
Earlier this year, Patrick Mahomes stated in an interview with Time magazine, “I don’t want to pressure anyone to vote for a certain president.”
“I want people to use their voice, whoever they believe in. I want them to do the research.”
Mahomes would rather stay neutral and maintain his political affiliation with himself.
His interview with TIME magazine was part of its 100 Most Influential People of 2024 series. The Super Bowl MVP was fresh off his second-straight Super Bowl victory after the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas in February.
Mahomes certainly has the influence to get voters out, especially with his celebrity status. He is even more influential since he is friends with Taylor Swift, and his wife has become an even bigger friend.

James united with other prominent athletes and entertainers to focus on bringing Black voices and votes to the United States elections.
James has made it clear he is on the Democrat side, while Mahomes has never stated where he leans politically.
