Despite being hundreds of miles apart, Bronny James is keeping the spark alive in his relationship with Parker Whitfield, sending a thoughtful gift to his girlfriend while the Lakers are away on a road trip.

Bronny James keeps romance alive

The young NBA rookie surprised Whitfield, the daughter of actors Dondré and Salli-Richardson Whitfield, with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a heartfelt love note.

The gesture arrived on Tuesday, and Parker shared the touching surprise with her followers on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into their relationship.

Part of Bronny’s note read, “Your BF loves you so much,” showcasing his affectionate nature despite the physical distance.

Bronny, who has been traveling with the Los Angeles Lakers since October 28, has publicly expressed how much he misses Parker.

While the team has struggled on their road trip, losing three out of their first four games, the 6’2″ guard’s thoughts were clearly with his girlfriend.

The Lakers will wrap up their trip with a game against Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, after which the team returns to Los Angeles for a matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.

Bronny and Parker’s love story

Bronny and Parker’s relationship has been growing steadily since they were first seen together at the Paris Olympics in August 2024.

Whitfield later made their relationship Instagram official with a sweet post on National Boyfriend Day, captioning it, “Bf day! I love you!”

Whitfield, currently a sophomore at Spelman College, has already earned praise from her family for her academic and personal accomplishments.

Her parents have been vocal about their pride in her decision to attend Spelman, with her father sharing a heartfelt post on social media celebrating her journey.

Though Bronny and Parker have kept much of their romance private, it’s clear their connection runs deep.

Both alumni of Sierra Canyon School in California, they share a history rooted in sports-Bronny with basketball and Parker with softball.

ESPN has made a decision on Jason Kelce following his recent altercation with a young Penn State fan.

The former Eagles star had an incident with a Nittany Lions supporter on his way to their game against Ohio State on Saturday that ended up going viral online.

Kelce made an appearance on ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’ ahead of the fixture, but it wasn’t a smooth Saturday as he smashed a fan’s phone for asking how he feels about his brother Travis being “f***ot” for dating Taylor Swift, because it’s apparently gay to date women now…

Kelce would grab said fan’s phone, as he was recording him at the time, before smashing it and then asking him, “Who’s the faggot now?”
