Milwaukee Bucks Guard Andre Jackson Jr. crashed his car in downtown Milwaukee shortly after the Bucks’ morning workout on Saturday, October 26.

The single-vehicle accident occurred at the Yankee Hill Luxury Apartments complex, located near the intersection of State Street and Van Buren Street.

Witnesses reported a loud noise as Jackson’s car crashed into the porch area of the apartment building around 11:32 a.m. Brian Walker, a resident of a nearby building, described the scene as chaotic, with around 15 onlookers gathering to see what had happened. Fire department officials responded promptly, assessed the situation, and confirmed no one reported injuries. Jackson was the vehicle’s sole occupant and did not require medical attention.

The aftermath of the crash left noticeable damage, with skid marks and debris visible at the scene, including bent metal railings and broken bricks. Jackson’s car sustained significant damage, but officials confirmed the incident involved only property, with no injuries to pedestrians or residents.

Bucks Confirm Guard Andre Jackson Jr.’s Readiness After Car Incident

The Bucks organization released a statement following the incident, stressing that Jackson remained unharmed and planned to play in the team’s game against the Brooklyn Nets the following day. “Andre was involved in a single-vehicle accident after this morning’s team workout. Andre was alone in his car. Fortunately, no one was injured, and he didn’t require medical attention. Andre will be joining the team in New York for tomorrow’s game.“

Jackson, a second-round draft pick acquired by the Bucks after his standout performance with UConn’s national championship team in 2023, played a limited role during the current season. He logged just one minute in the Bucks’ season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers and did not play in their subsequent loss to the Chicago Bulls. In his rookie season, he appeared in 57 games, averaging 2.2 points and two rebounds per game while contributing 0.9 assists and 0.3 steals.

Notably, Jackson demonstrated efficient shooting during his first season, posting a field goal percentage of 50.0% and a three-point shooting percentage of 37.0%. He also recorded a free throw percentage of 72.7%. Over his entire career thus far, he has accumulated a total of 125 points, 113 rebounds, and 50 assists in 57 games.
