Fever star Caitlin Clark’s developing friendship with Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton and his girlfriend Jade Jones was on display on Sunday. Clark showed her support for Haliburton’s Pacers after a courtside appearance for their game against the Knicks. She was seated next to Haliburton’s girlfriend, Jade.

Clark and Jade shared a hilarious exchange after the contest as the WNBA’s reigning Rookie of the Year mocked Haliburton for showing his toes in a pic with his girlfriend. Jade posted the pic on her Instagram (@jadeeejones) at the Pacers’ practice facility. Here’s the post:

Before Caitlin Clark chose to troll Tyrese Haliburton, she also left a loving message for the couple.

“Slay tho,” Clark wrote.

Tyrese Haliburton and Cailtin Clark have grown close since she got drafted by the Indiana Fever. The two point guards are at the helm of their respective teams, giving Indiana sports fans plenty to cheer about last season. Haliburton guided the Pacers to the playoffs after three years and led them to the conference finals, while Clark helped end Fever’s eight-year playoff drought.

Tyrese Haliburton bounces back in Caitlin Clark and his girlfriend Jade Jones’ presence

Caitlin Clark’s appearance at the Knicks-Pacers game may have proved lucky for Tyrese Haliburton. The All-Star guard struggled to get going in his first nine games, averaging 14.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 7.7 assists, shooting a measly 37.9%, including 25.4% from 3 and 75.0% from the free throw range.

However, Haliburton shrugged off that horrid start in game 10 against the Knicks at home. The Team USA gold medalist went off for a season-high 35 points and 14 assists, shooting 61.1%, including 4-of-10 from 3 and 9-of-11 from the free throw line.

The Pacers won 132-121, improving to 5-5 on the season. They bounced back after a 103-83 loss against the Charlotte Hornets.

Caitlin Clark witnessed the Pacers’ mammoth win next to her boyfriend and Butler Bulldogs’ assistant Connor McCaffery, while Tyrese Haliburton’s girlfriend Jade Jones was also with her.

She received a rousing ovation fromPacers fans after appearing on the jumbotron. Clark also received her flowers from the Knicks’ broadcasters, who compared her impact in the WNBA to what Michael Jordan, LeBron James and Steph Curry have done in the men’s league.
