Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark will not be taking her talents to another league.
Unrivaled, a professional women’s 3-on-3 basketball league, is set to debut in January.
Co-founders Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier have gotten some top talent in the WNBA to agree to play in the upstart league. However, they did not get the top woman who has brought so much attention to the league.
According to ESPN, Caitlin Clark, arguably the face of women’s basketball, has rejected the chance to join Unrivaled.
Ben Pickman of The Athletic reported that the Unrivaled League is not giving up. They still have an open invite for Clark should she decide to participate in the inaugural season.
On Wednesday, it was announced that 34 of the 36 spots in the Unrivaled league were announced, which left two “wild card” roster slots.
The groundbreaking 3-on-3 women’s basketball league is scheduled to jump ball on Jan. 17.
The league will feature six teams, and all of the games will be played in Miami. More than 45 primetime regular season matchups will be aired on TNT and truTV and streamed on Max.
They were really hoping Caitlin Clark’s presence would help with the ratings, but now they will have to hope the star power they have can deliver it so they can come back for a second season.
Indiana Fever Guard Caitlin Clark Turned Down $1 Million Offer To Join League
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has decided not to play in Unrivaled, the new 3-on-3 women’s professional basketball league.
Unrivaled, which has been years in the making, is set to tip off in January.
Unrivaled reportedly put together a “full court press” to try and convince Clark to join, even offering a salary north of $1 million for the eight-week season.
Not even seven figures could get her to come.

A photo of a female hockey fan who was busting out of her jeans at a Leafs-Devils game in early 2024 has gone viral online again.
Said supporter was pictured in the stands wearing a Devils Jack Hughes jersey, but that was probably the least interesting thing about her as a lower body part caused her to trend on X.
A new set of photos of her showing her assets off has popped up online ahead of the weekend, with one of the accounts posting asking, “Are you a hockey fan?”
