Split image of Sydney Smith and Olivia Dunne.
LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne is used to going viral on all platforms, but she damn near made social media break when she posted a video on TikTok of her performing a split while on the balance beam.

In the world of constantly making content, it seems some fans saw that same move, but from a lesser-known but steadily rising gymnast from a small college.

Dunne’s followers thought her latest video looked awfully similar to one Southern Connecticut gymnast Sydney Smith posted on TikTok.

It was brought to her attention, but instead of trying to come at her for copying her style, she complimented her instead.

“Lol my W trend,” Smith wrote on TikTok. “She looks great doin it tho. Respect!”

It’s best to leave that door open for a possible collaboration and friendship in the future, rather than make an enemy with the one social media star who has the most NIL deals in the country.

If you are good at sport, blessed with good looks, and have charisma, chances are you will find yourself followed by 100s of thousands, or even millions of fans.

Dunne is already there and Sydney Smith is making her way to the top. She currently boasts 217,000 followers on Instagram and 1.6 million followers on TikTok.

Former NFL star quarterback Brett Favre has taken a swipe at pop sensation Taylor Swift for political reasons ahead of the upcoming 2024 presidential elections.

The 11-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro is known to be a supporter of former President Donald Trump and has previously endorsed him.

He’s since taken a shot at Swift, who recently endorsed Democratic candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris following Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes informing everyone that he wouldn’t endorse a candidate.

“Good take by Mahomes,” he wrote in a tweet.

“I see a lot of celebs trying to influence their audience instead of letting the people think for themselves. If the best choice for them ain’t clear and they’re easily swayed by their fav pop artist, it’s not going to be a good thing.”
