Taylor Swift was already a phenomenon among the audiences for her breathtaking songs. Now, she seems to have taken the sporting realm under her grasp as well. Ever since her relationship with Travis Kelce got public, the NFL has been all about the ‘Swifties’. Now, in what seems to be yet another move from Swift to connect with the sporting audience more, she has decided to own the Kansas City Chiefs.

What Is Taylor Swift’s Stake In The Kansas City Chiefs?

As a matter of fact, Travis Kelce’s superstar girlfriend still does not have a share in the Kansas City Chiefs team. The entire hype originated when NFL legend Tom Brady was approved to become a part owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. Incidentally, Brady waited for over a year to have the opportunity to embrace the prestigious honor.

Following the takeover, the media outlets got excited. Thus, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell was asked about the possibility of Taylor Swift becoming a part owner of the Travis Kelce-led side. Initially, Goodell laughed off the possibility. However, he then gave the green light.

The NFL commissioner stated that provided the 14-time Grammy winner was interested, “she has the ability to do it.” This news was initially reported by Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated. Now, while there has been no confirmation from Kelce and her girlfriend, Swift has surely brought in a lot of added exposure to the already booming NFL market. Thus, her inclusion will be somewhat of a boon. Now, Taylor Swift usually attends most of Kelce’s games. But recently, the Chiefs’ tight end was missing from Swift’s Eras Tour.

Why Did Travis Kelce Miss Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour?

Taylor Swift had a huge pop from the crowd as she stepped onto the stage in Florida. Unfortunately, Travis Kelce was not there to witness his girlfrind’s superstar reception firsthand. While many wondered about the possible reason, Kelce was focusing on an important upcoming game. The Chiefs were scheduled to face off against the 49ers in a major Super Bowl rematch.

However, even though the star tight end could not turn up, his family showed plenty of support. Travis’ brother Jason Kelce, along with his wife Kylie and their mother Donna cheered for Swift in Miami. Thus, with some stunning star power turning up the NFL heat, fans will have to wait and see whether Taylor Swift truly becomes the owner of the Kansas City Chiefs or not.
