Philadelphia Eagles star defensive tackle Jalen Carter received a plethora of angry messages from fans who accused him of injuring Green Bay Packers quarterback during Friday night’s game in São Paulo, Brazil.

During Green Bay’s final drive, Love suffered a lower leg injury after getting hit by Josh Sweat and Jalen Carter. Malik Willis had to play the final two snap but took a sack on the final play before he could attempt a Hail Mary.

The Eagles held on for a 34-29 victory in a thrilling back-and-forth affair.

On his Instagram story, Carter posted a screenshot of the disturbing messages he received from angry fans, accusing him of injuring Love. But the second-year defensive tackle handled the matter perfectly, writing, “Making a football play wishing Jordan the best recovery!”

The good news is that initial tests revealed that Love’s ACL is still intact, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported on Saturday. Love will undergo more testing today when the team lands in Green Bay.

Jalen Carter had two tackles in the Eagles’ victory. Love completed 17 of 34 pass attempts for 260 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.

The Eagles will be back in action on Sept. 16 when they welcome Kirk Cousins and the Atlanta Falcons to Lincoln Financial Field on “Monday Night Football” in Week 2. The Packers host the Indianapolis Colts at Lambeau Field on Sept .15.

Jalen Carter Looks To Build Off Stellar Rookie Season

Thanks to the depth on the Eagles’ prolific front seven last season, the Georgia product spent his rookie year in a rotational role. Despite only making one start, Carter still tallied six sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

With Fletcher Cox (retired) and Haason Reddick (traded to the New York Jets) gone, the Eagles will need Carter more than ever. Based on his remarkable play in a limited role last season, Carter should be up for the challenge and emerge as a superstar in year two.

Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce all but confirmed that he’ll never come out of retirement after revealing a remarkable offseason body transformation.

Though he was still at the top of his game last year, Jason Kelce decided to hang up the cleats on his illustrious career that will lead to a spot in the Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility.

Because Kelce was playing at a high level in his age-36 season, many fans can’t help but wonder if he’d come out of retirement and return to the Eagles — especially if they’re in Super Bowl contention.

But during an interview with the Associated Press, Jason Kelce made it clear that a comeback is not happening. Kelce cited that the Eagles won’t be calling him back after his drastic offseason weight loss:

“They’re not going to call me to come back and play center at 260 pounds, and I’m moving on to the next thing and I’m excited to watch Cam (Jurgens). I really think Cam is going to be tremendous this year. He’s going to really show people how great of a player he is.

He was good for us last year at right guard and he’s going to flourish at center. And for me personally, my days of playing are just done and I do not foresee any scenario taking place other than maybe medicine inventing a way to get rid of arthritis that I would ever entertain coming back at all anymore.”
