There have been so many different reasons that Caitlin Clark has made headlines since joining the WNBA. At times, it’s mostly about her achievements on the court, but every now and then, people think that she gets way too much disrespect from the media and those in it.

The latest example is the WNBA’s graphic showcasing all the teams that made the playoffs. Calrk’s Indianan Fever made it, but the league instead used guard Kelsey Mitchell.

Now, everyone is calling out the WNBA for purposefully excluding Clark for several different reasons and how these actions negatively affect the league.

“This tells me the WNBA will be a passing fad, which will last as long as CC is in the league since the WNBA is learning nothing,” said one comment.

“Imagine a basketball league having a star comparable to Larry Bird dropped into its midst and doing everything possible to not promote him/her. This is where we are in the WNBA,” said another.

“Wnba is an embarrassment. Once again, if Clark wasn’t playing this year, no one would care what goes on in the wnba. However, jealousy is one heck of a disease,” added a third.

“A joke indeed. The league is enjoying incredible and never before seen success and it’s all because of one person. And she is not even highlighted on their marketing piece,” a fourth continued.

Of course, though, it is worth mentioning that Mitchell has been an All-Star the past two seasons and arguably just had the best year of her career.
