Recently, popular streamer Kai Cenat announced his decision to step away from his streaming career to chase his dream of playing professional basketball. Instead of aiming for the NBA or another major basketball league, Cenat took a unique approach by introducing fans to the newly formed Little Basketball Association (LBA) in September.
This league featured a draft system similar to that of major leagues, and Cenat actively participated as a player. However, after some time in the LBA, Cenat has decided to retire from basketball.
Recently, Kai took to social media to share the news. Through a Twitter post with an image of him holding the LBA Champions Trophy, he signaled his return to the platform that made him famous.
“Back to streaming,” he wrote on his X account.
Kai Cenat began his streaming journey on Twitch in February 2021 and quickly gained a large fanbase. One of his notable achievements came during a stream featuring celebrities Kevin Hart and Druski, where he broke Twitch’s North American viewership record.
Kai Cenat’s Return to Streaming Brings Fans Together for Laughs
Fans always love what Kai Cenat does to entertain them. The popular streamer barely failed to entertain fans with his hilarious reaction. Following his announcement of retirement from basketball, Kai received an outpouring of support from his fans as he made his comeback on Twitch.
Kai imitated one of NBA legend Kobe Bryant’s iconic poses for a photo. This playful homage sparked a flurry of reactions from fans who couldn’t help but comment on his tribute to the basketball great.
Some fans also poked fun at Kai’s performance at the LBA that saw him even blocked by a little player in the LBA.
With his return to streaming, fans can expect more of the entertaining content that has made Cenat a beloved figure in the streaming community.
