Gilbert Arenas

Gilbert Arenas’s son, Aloni Arenas, has been creating buzz around the country for his high-level basketball skills. Aloni also has two other people around him who continue to hype him on public platforms.

On Sunday, Gilbert Arenas’s fiancee Melli Monaco, and his ex – Laura Govan – took to social media to hype up Aloni. They posted videos of the seventh grader playing at his school’s game.

Monaco posted a video of her fiance’s youngest son on her Instagram story and captioned the post,

“My mini sniper.”

Since being engaged to Gilbert Arenas, Milli Monaco has been a constant support to his children. She has previously attended some of his children’s games, cheering them on from the sidelines.

Arenas’ eldest son, Alijah Arenas, has also made waves for his basketball skills. He is one of the top prospects for the class of 2026 and represents Chatsworth High School in California.

Gilbert Arenas discusses his engagement to fiancee Melli Monaco

A decade after his split from his ex Laura Govan, Gilbert Arenas again found love. The former NBA player got engaged to his girlfriend Melli Monaco. Arenas proposed to Monaco in Paris in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Arenas spoke about his relationship with his fiancee in September earlier this year. In an episode of his podcast, “No Chill Gil,” Arenas said it took him some time to consider introducing Monaco as his fiancee.

“I remember when the first time [I said], ‘Yes, so this is my fiance.’ Oh, this is my fiance. I got to, you know, the vocabularies got to change,” he said.

“It’s still new. I didn’t realize I was going to be nervous. That’s a scary feeling. It’s a scary feeling. I mean, you know, but at this point in life, man, you know, you got to.”

In the later part of the video, the former Golden State Warriors player said that it is easy for him and Monaco to fit in because her strengths are his flaws and vice versa, making it easy for them to support each other.

“My strengths is her flaws. So we get to teach each other our strengths … we can’t both have the same strengths and the same flaws. So the things that I’m not good at, she’s great at the thing. What she’s not good at. I’m great at,” he said.

Arenas met his fiancee, a YouTube star, while she was live streaming. He has four children: two daughters and two sons with Govan, whom he broke up with in 2014.
